UPDATE: HERE'S THE REAL NEWS.

• Kodfest is cancelled. I'm sorry to see it go to waste, but at least I salvaged two of its bosses to put in Solaris' Water dungeon.
• Solaris is not cancelled. Duh.
• I do have plans for a 3rd and 4th Carnage in Space (yes, I am getting waaaay ahead of myself), but of course they'll be called something more clever (if I ever get around to them).
• I put out some new demos! For the public, there's Act I v2.0. No new content here, so don't bother if you finished the first version. If you haven't, then you can try out a bunch of new gameplay enhancements (described with the demo) and a truckload of bugfixes.
• For the project's beta-testers, we have the Water dungeon demo! This demo showcases the brand new Water dungeon, and nothing else. Kinda like my first three demos! If you want to be a beta-tester and try it out, now's your chance because we've got one spot free!

But working on 3 projects was a really bad idea. So I regret to inform you that Kodfest is cancelled.

But working on 2 projects was a really bad idea. So I regret to inform you that Solaris is cancelled.

From now on, I shall dedicate all of my questing abilities to Carnage in Space 2: STUFF BLOWS UP. Tomorrow, after I finish it, I will announce its sequel: Carnage in Space 3: MORE STUFF BLOWS UP. Also, since I have some more free time, I'm going to pick up a 2nd simultaneous project: CARNAGE IN SPACE 4: EVERYTHING BLOWS UP!

Again, I'm sorry for all the sudden changes, and I'm sorry to all 1 of you fans out there who will be disappointed that my epic masterpiece Kodfest is getting cancelled. As for Solaris, well, that was just inevitable.

That's a pity, I really liked where you were going with Solaris,but I can understand how it got overwhelming. Good luck on your new/old/new projects

CHANGE OF PLANS, EVERYONE! Solaris is un-cancelled!

 

To show just how much motivation I once again have for the project, I am going to re-make the quest in the Mario tileset! This is a bold new direction for the quest and I'm excited to see what will come of it.

 

To emphasis this change in art style, I've updated the userbar for this epic quest.
