Dragon Den's Boss (And Other Things)

To start, the updated version of the first dungeon is pretty much done at this point! I've added some new mechanics to it, added a 3rd floor and expanded upon the puzzles seen in the original version. I won't be going into too much depth on what exactly has changed, but suffice it to say, I think it'll be for the better. Really, the only thin I need to do is send it off to some folks to test it out and make sure that it not only works, but makes sense and flows.
Now, what I will show is the new boss I made for the dungeon. There's a few reasons on why I made a new boss. But the biggest, most important reason was this:
Somehow, while I was cleaning my script file out, I deleted the entire script for the first boss. I have no idea when or how I managed to do this, but it's been done. I mean, I'm not heart broken over it - I had planned on either updating it or scripting an entirely new one. It was just odd play-testing, getting to the first boss and only seeing a shadow for a brief second before a heart container would fall from the ceiling.
Moral of the lesson - back up your scripts. >_> Or anything related to your quest. Including the quest itself. Or something. I have no idea. >_>

Of course, I'm open to critique and opinions on what's seen here. This thing isn't set it stone by any means.
Anyway, thanks for checking out this brief update. Hopefully going through the second dungeon won't take even half as long as this one did. >_> I do plan to get a new demo out once The Pit has received similar treatment.

The new version of the boss looks well done, but maybe you should reduce the amount of mirrors (is that what those are called?) in the room. With the current amount of mirrors, the boss seems like it could get quite frustrating, especially for one in the first level. Other than that, everything looks great!

Very interesting custom boss! Quite inspired to try this game when it's completely done. :3

Thanks for the feedback so far. I'll see about removing some of the mirrors - I had actually shrunk down the bullet hit boxes in an attempt to make it less annoying (since they bullets are so small) but I'll see about the mirrors too.
It's funny how the Dragon's Den boss is anything but a dragon.

Would you believe me if I said that this is entirely intentional? Once you see all the bosses and the dungeons they reside in, there's a bit of a pattern. :3

It doesn't seem like it could really be much of an issue. From what I can see in the video most of the reflected bullets don't travel anywhere that could put the player at risk.
