Are the whirlpools supposed to do something???  The one in the Southern Temple sand does nothing.  There is also a green tile in Central Temple that won't budge.  Kinda at a standstill with the first sword, first boomerang, bow and arrows, bombs, raft, power glove, lamp and boss key as my items. What am I missing?

 

Ok found a weakness in an unmarked wall...should be ok with the hook shot now.......

Yup.  You think you're stuck and once you find that wall the rest of the game opens up and the path to the finish is clear.  Same thing happened to me.

Straight south of the entrance to the water area (after filling it) there is a bomb wall on the right wall. I believe the room had some lv2 stalfos and a zora.
