Not too many people seem to be playing this 5th Quest candidate, so I decided to give it a try. Here is what I found so far:
1. While the Overworld is the same (same enemies, same locations save for a couple additional empty ponds), the dungeons have a steeper difficulty curve. For example, you are suggested to take a Magic Shield with you to Level 1…
2. The dungeon items from three of the first four dungeons each grant access to one Heart Container. While one Heart Container is available for collection at the start, it is located in a very difficult-to-reach location that requires travel through a few screens with Lynels, which make the route very dangerous. The fifth one is located at an obvious location but requires a later dungeon item to reach.
3. To my knowledge, the Blue Ring is not sold in any shops; it can be obtained within a dungeon. Expect heavy resistance guarding it, though.
4. To access the White Sword, you require a certain item held within a dungeon, which requires a previous dungeon item to access, whose dungeon requires yet another previous dungeon item. Get used to holding the Wooden Sword (and, later, the White Sword) longer than desired.
5. MischaPetya likes to use dungeon rooms that are divided by block alleys, cutting off certain doors from one another. Often, an item, usually a Small Key, is located on one side of the divide, requiring traversing through either a blastable wall or a false wall. An example of this can be found one room east and two rooms north of the entrance of Level 1. Speaking of Keys, the Boss Key is present and required in every dungeon.
