More progress today:

I've made the horse 1 pixel bigger in each direction since yesterday. I'm thinking of keeping the old style for younger horses, but they look weird when Ganon is riding them, so maybe it'll be a 'just for kids' thing.
These horses have 4-frame animations that I'm reasonably happy with. The perspective is a little funky, but it matches the rest of the sprites. It's probably just due to its size that this perspective flaw is exaggerated. I'm not done with the shading -- this is only a rough version. However, the good news is that the hardest part is done.
