I know I was the one that suggested this to you but.. I say 2 files for a few reasons:
* Much faster development time.
* Scripts may not work exactly like built-in enemy behavior would (example: spawning)
* No need for other scripts you may not of thought of yet, like strings, or modified boss scripts, etc.
Another option is to finish and beta test original difficulty and then export and re-import all the maps, duplicate all the Dmaps, and go through each new screen and set the warps accordingly. This makes whistle warps impossible though... So that's why I'd go with 2 files.

How big is the file? If it's not too many bytes, 2 files are okay I'd say.

1/2 to 1 MB Avataro. It's smaller than something like James Quest: Remastered.
