I must say, the dungeon in this quest is one tough sucker to figure out. I can't find the mirror shield, and I have no idea how to get to the boss.

Nayru's Love doesn't work, and the item cellar in the room directly to the east is empty (why would the cellar be empty if you need to use a key to get to it?) Was this quest bug-tested?

You use the fire boomerang trick from joelmacool12.

You use the fire boomerang trick from joelmacool12.

That is extremely vague and I have no idea what that means. Maybe joelmecool12 knows.

I think he means to use the Fire Boomerang to reflect the magic instead of relying on the Mirror Shield for that.

An update has been made on this quest.

Bug was that the bad guy room with gold darknuts with string that the door wouldn't open when they died has been fixed.  :)

That's good to know, ZeldaPlayer! Thanks for fixing that. :)
