Alright, here we are, finally at the very end of the Summer 2013 Two-Week Quest Contest. People started working on their entries 7 weeks ago today, and now it's time to announce the results. The people have voted, and here are the winners.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again now. Making a full quest in two weeks is no walk in the park. Just finishing a quest in that short a time is an accomplishment in itself. So please, give a round of applause (or whatever constitutes a round of applause on an internet forum) to Coolgamer012345, Gleeok, SpacemanDan, Theryan, Russ, Moosh, Avataro, Anthus, dcsyxx, Goriya, and a30502355!

 

Thank you, everybody who competed in the competition, and everybody who took the time to play the entries and vote for your favorite. Given the overwhelming support this contest had, I might try hosting another, somewhat different contest this winter. Stay tuned.

Russian is the third wheel that's awkwardly cramping Vault of Souls and A Boy & His Cursor's biopoly(diopoly? Certainly not monopoly) style.

This is why I wanted more diverse secondary rewards. It's a little boring when A Boy & His Vault of Souls wins everything. (We don't need all the secondary awards to tell us that they were impressive. )

Well hey, I said if people suggested good secondary awards, I'd make a second poll for them. But nobody did.

Next time I will try to come up with something more simple. Russ was right after all, when he said that nonzelda quests stand out! Great job Russ! Your quest is really a fun one to play. Also great job at everyone else. It is really nice when so many quests get released at once.

Everybody did a great job this year! I was really amazed by the quality of the entries. Congratulations to the contest winners, but congratulations also to every entrant who's not highlighted here. You all deserve recognition for pulling off something as crazy as making a quest in 336 hours.
