If you're one of the few that gets the door glitch in the village, download this and just overwrite the old file.  It won't mess with your save or anything.  Something broke and messed up the door combo there, no idea why.  NightmareJames did a live cast of it a week ago and didn't have an issue, so...*shrug.

Anyway, if you have any questions, ask here, and have fun! ^_^

Good quest so far. I remember playing the normal version of the quest earlier, but didn't get as far as I did so far. I just finished level 2, and I seem to have an extra key. Is that normal, or did I miss something back in level 2?

Nope.  You're supposed to have an extra key.  Level 3 is one key short.

I finished lvl 1, and have walked all over and can't figure out what next.  I have bombs boomer and arrows.  I think I need the candle to burn stuff but I don't know where else to look.  Can you direct me somewhere ..... I am sure it will be something obvious I keep overlooking...

There's a cave a bit to the north of the start.  Go through that.  When you come out, go around to the southwest of there.  You'll come to a screen with a gray building.  There's a burnable bush there.

I have been to this spot, but I don't have the candle to burn that bush.  Did I miss it In level 1.  I need that candle...

Ok, so apparently I didn't finish level 1, just went back and found that candle .....

Don't feel bad, you're not the first person to walk past that stairway.  :)

FInished level 1,2,3 I was in level 4 and went out: got the  warp, got a new sword but now I don't find the way to come back, only level 6 is available!

I think I may have screwed my game.  I was in lvl 4 and left, ended up in a warp where I found my way to lvl 5.  Problem is I didn't finish lvl 4 off and I can't find a way back, that warp I used is now closed.  It seems the orcarina would be my only way out but I can't find it.  Can you kick start me or did I screw my game up?

You're okay :).  If you were able to get to Level 5, you can always go back later and finish Level 4.

To get the whistle, you need to get to the bottom-right of the lower floor of Level 5.

Walk through that wall.  After that, it's pretty easy.

A bit unrelated, but are you thinking about doing a 2.5 compatible, Director's cut version of Lands of Serenity as well?
