Orin XD pointed out to me the lack of convex diagonal tiles in Relic's DoR dungeon tiles. I've created diagonal tiles in Classic before, so I knew I could figure out how to make these:*

Note: These are just the tiles; when making combos, use "Flip - 3" (by pressing "H" and "V" once each) when selecting the tile in the combo editor to make the combos for the opposite sides. That's how all of Relic's other diagonal tiles are done.
Here's how I did it:

In addition, I thought Relic's lower wall tiles lacked proper corners. The lower wall diagonal tiles he had made are functional and easy to use, but don't look right to me (not to mention they don't have special tiles for corners). So, I applied the same ratio from the upper wall corners and made these:*

Note: The first 4 tiles in the top 2 rows (the original diagonal lower-wall tiles) and the first tile in the fourth row were already in the tileset; I made the others.

(Be Advised: All pictures above have links to the entire page export they came from, not just the cropped picture shown.)

So, if you can provide some feedback, I have a few questions:

1. How do they look? Do they look good?

2. Do you like the improved lower wall tiles better than the original?

3. Since there are lower-wall tiles in Relic's set that are positioned below those I made (see the third and fouth tiles in the first and second rows of the second picture for the ones I'm talking about in this question), do you think I should go ahead and make tiles for them that work with the tiles I made?

And yes, if you give permission, you are free to use these tiles.
*These were all exported using pallette 02A ("Relic/orig"), so it's best to import them using the same pallette.

You are doing well with the tiles. Keep up the good work.

Those lower walls were actually my edits, just me and some LttP tiles, if I recall correctly. They are meant to be generic lower walls that can be used with any dungeon wall set in DoR... but yes, they are extremely simple and do not follow the same perspective rules as the convex corners you prefer.

I KINDA see what you're doing here, but I don't suppose you could demonstrate them in a screenshot?... I'm just curious...

Sometimes I wonder how easily we could do this in photoshop.

Why certainly.

Here are the convex corners (and a couple concave corners) with just the walls:

Here they are with the lower walls:

I actually had to make a few more tiles for the tighter corners.

Does that demonstrate this better?
