AGN quest

I started playing this today, but I wonder if anyone has finished it, is it beatable? I found this glitch here and can't get past the obstacles because the boomerang trigger disappeared.

Ok, I'll pass. The quest was updated but may have more bugs, no idea to continue if there's a risk of permastuck then.

Sad to hear, it could have been a nice quest. What do you think about this one http://www.purezc.co...mments#comments. Have beaten level 1, and it looks ok. Many different ratings 0 - 4 stars.

Weird bug, it must come from a wrong zc version. You must use 2.5 (thats why the game is not in purezc), i think the game comes with the correct beta version

I used the latest Linux version and I don't know if there's possible to find another more suitable version to play this quest.

Hi Nik, et al. I am playing this in 2.11 build 18 (which I think is the Lost Isle Build), and I'm having no problems! Playing it in Windows, too. This is an awesome quest! Don't pass it by because of version problems. So far, I've progressed steadily. The difficulties in the beginning were only related to 3 hearts and elementary equipment/items. But now, I've gained some hearts and good stuff, and I'm having a blast!

PS Please keep this thread alive, as I may hit some speed bumps/ road blocks. Thanks, Nik!

Okay, first official questions: How many hearts do you need to get the 2nd sword? And are all swords in the temple of stone? Are there 4 heart pieces in the overworld? Thanks!

Arieltap...I played this a while back and have saved some notes and maps.it is a really solid effort with a lot more there than you might think...I am going to replay it and when I can I'll try to help with any questions ....found my notes...I see I did make it to Gannon..I made some good maps and notes GREAT! Good game worth playing again GOOD LUCK WITH IT!!


I just went in and did some work in the barracks - boomerang,glove, full heart pod (dodangos), and hook shot - do you have all those items? Where are you at right now?? There are some tricky bomb placements throughout this quest, so beware

Hi Chief! I'm glad someone is playing along. I was beginning to think it was just me mumbling to myself. I'll definitely take you up on that help when the need arises. I've progressed, only because of one of those tricky bomb placements in the Sewer. So now I've got wood boomer, flippers, hammer, hookshot, wand, arrow (no bow), ladder, book (an odd green ring), raft, and mirror shield. Now I would like the magic boomer, so I'm hunting for it. Also, FINALLY got enough hearts for the 2nd sword. That was hard whooping on a gleeok with the first sword and no room to manouver. Right now I'm still in the Sewer, swimming and hammering along. Thanks!

The green thing might be the amulet...the fire boomerang is in the barracks ( enter the basement entrance, up the steps to the right, go west and hookshot across...there is a trigger you had to set so as to get to the next set of steps, taking them up leads to an area that will contain the fire boomerang in the SE corner....I was checking it out last night and it was a little confusing in that area (really? yes, questmakers will do that ) trying to catch up with you...got the ladder working on the hammer and flippers my notes say something about the bow is outside on rooftop (Royal Chambers) also a silver arrow in Royal Chambers and the flute..temple of fire have anything to do with the royal chamber...notes are fuzzy HOW MANY HEARTS FOR SECOND SWORD??

SEVEN HEARTS! I sweated the long arduous wait for that damn sword. AND I do not think there are any more heart pieces other than the THREE in the overworld. Just a little questmaker diabolicalness there. Is there no blue/magical boomer? I'll try for the fire boomer, as per your directions. Thanks!

Ooops! I lied. There IS another heart piece in the overworld!

i DON'T SEE ANOTHER BOOMERANG IN WHAT i DID BEFORE.GOT THE HAMMER AND FLIPPERS AND RAFT SO I'M CATCHING UP.THAT DAMN BOOMERANG IS HOLDING BACK A FEW IMPORTANT ADVANCES.

WELCOME SCHOOCHIE....I BEAT THIS LAST SUMMER , BUT IT WAS A BALLBUSTER..AND EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SOME MAPS AND NOTES ...THERE ARE A LOT THINGS I DON'T HAVE WRITTEN DOWN....BEWARE, LOT OF SWITCHES THAT NEED TAKEN CARE IN VARIUOS PARTS BLOCKING YOUR WAY...BOMBING WALLS AT THE RIGHT PLACE IS VERT STRATEGIC.OVERALL, QUITE A CHALLENGING QUEST..

GOING BACK TO FIRE BOOMERANG TOO, ARIELTAP.LET ME KNOW IF YOU SOLVE THE WAY...ALMOST LIKE A MAZE-LOOP SITUATION THERE....AGAIN, SCHOOCHIE, WELCOME ABOARD
