Easy mode?  I would scoff at that, but with the way I play sometimes, it seems like every mode is hard mode.

If it's your first time playing it, every mode will be hard mode. The only difference is the damage taken, everything else is the same.

On Very Easy, I recall Evan saying you can tank through most of the bosses. If dodging attacks isn't your style, it might be for you. Just play on whatever difficulty gives you the most enjoyment. There's no shame in having fun.

That's true to your nature Melee. Making things harder on yourself. But hey, at least your victory is much bigger and better defeating Moldorm Prime with 5 hearts and no potions versus 6+ hearts with potions, despite your patience and sanity being sacrificed.

Don't worry!  I did worse than you even WITH 6 hearts.  Though I didn't use any potions untill my last try.

Honestly, it's all pattern recognition and knowing how to dodge stuff. Amount of health doesn't really matter as much, especially on higher difficulties.

Heh... just watched the video.  Good luck with level 3, it's kind of tough.  Then you will be able to acsess a fun new area...

 

By the way, thanks for choosing this quest to LP, it's one of my favorites!

It feels kinda cool when you find a better way to deal with a certain enemy than what the game tells you.  Also, I'm not sure if this place has enough fire and lava in it.
