One of the main reasons I enter these contests is to get feedback and I got some good feedback so far!

I wonder if the statue would benefit from fitting the same aesthetic as the walls, as in ruined and mossy. Might be worth a shot!

Here is what I did to it yesterday. I plan on working on it more. I'll probably make multiple versions.

Also I made this for the "eagle" dungeon, is this bird statue an eagle or something else, I'm not sure how to tell. I'm trying to add statues and stuff for each of the dungeons themes.

Yeah, the bird motif was noticeable even in the original. It's a really cool addition!

The Statues are getting there. The reduction of the color gradient and the addition of more black outlines worked.

I don't know if this would work or not, and I feel like I am trying to describe some ineffable thing here, but maybe finding a way to make it look "boxier" would help it fit the BS style. Honestly though, it already looks really good. I've said it before, but I really admire your tile work.

This bird statue was originally ripped from the Zelda 3 gigaleak and then modified. I've been trying to use some of the unused graphics from the Zelda 3 gigaleak, since it has never been used in a game before, and I really like some of the ideas they had. I've been trying to compare the graphics I'm working on side by side with existing BS graphics from the final release to get an idea of how to match the style better.
