Part 1
Isle of Rebirth by Evan20000 appears to be in the same vein as Promised Lands, both in gameplay and visual style. I have not seen too much of this quest as of yet, but the puzzles and custom boss fights have already made this as interesting experience. With up to 4 difficulty levels (Easy and Super Easy being available after your death counter hit a certain point), it can be challenging for any Zelda player. I'll be doing this run on Normal, with no intentions of switching at any point.

...though that would likely balloon up the death count, especially in the later stages of the quest

Oh boy, best of luck on this quest. I'm gonna guess it will take like 100 episodes or so to beat this quest
Either way, hope you'll enjoy the ride.

It's going to be quite the ride. Good luck; you're going to need it

What I find funny about doing this quest now is that people have been requesting this one the last couple weeks, while I've had this quest slated to go at this point for months.

Good luck in level 11 for that medusa boss, I had to quit hero mode the first time I played this because of that.
I died about 600 times on a hero mode run, carelessness will get link killed
Edit: not much difference between modes besides damage

Why would you play that shitty quest? Who made that garbage anyway?

^Me too. Also, that is one agonizing death Link suffers in this quest. Also, it's weird that no GAME OVER flashes up when you die; it's just a blank screen. On another note, I wonder if Evan has any perks for playing on Hero over Normal or throws any easy mode mockery if you downgrade to Easy or Very Easy mode?

I think the fact that once you go to Easy you can't go back might be mockery enough.

Yeah, if normal is already going to give this much trouble, not gonna say much for what Hero Mode would do to one's sanity

The quest password is only obtainable on hero mode. Originally the sound test was only going to be on Normal or higher, but I decided against it at the last minute because of how easy to is to rip midis in ZC.
