Yes We've recently reached the needed number of screenshots so I plan on starting the next contest in the next few days, and figure out how to consolidate the other contests we've had so far this year!

Hi everyone! Sorry for all the delays there have been with getting the next screenshot contest under way. First I had some issues connecting to the site's file system to upload the screenshots, and then I just didn't have the time. I will be looking for a second person to help host the contests so that between the two of us we can keep everything on schedule as much as possible.

 

In any case, the next contest has been posted: SotM 190. As mentioned in the SotW Changes thread, we are changing the contest to follow a monthly schedule. I am also using Jared's idea regarding the naming: the contests will be Screenshot of the Month contests, and then every 3 SotMs we will host a Screenshot of the Quarter contest, similar to the structure beforehand. Speaking of which, the first SotQ has been posted as well: SotQ 1. It contains all the contests that have occurred so far this year (SotW 766 - SotW 769). Hopefully with these changes, we can maintain the schedule and have enough screenshots for each screenshot by the deadline (note that because of delays on my end, there will likely be only three SotQs this year).

 

I would like to aim for the next contest (SotM 191) to be near the start of July to try and get the contests to occur at the beginning of each month, so any screenshots that can be sent our way will be really appreciated! Thank you everyone for your patience thus far. I'm excited to see future screenshots from everyone and continue the tradition of this contest.
