What a pretty darn nice quest! Thank you for it! I seem to have finished the game with what I believe is almost everything.
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it
It looks that way, from what I can tell.
(Should I assume your massive money count came from the useless shop?)
I just can't seem to find the last Heart Container and Magic Container. I've done all three Vaults. I think what I'm looking for is probably a kill-all-enemies item drop from an arbitrary dungeon screen.
Most likely.
I mean, it's kinda hard to say without knowing which ones you've gotten so far, but hearts are only overworld caves/secrets and dungeon bosses/vaults, while magic containers are scattered around dungeon rooms as well. There's 3 in Spider, 2 in Desert, 1 in Inferno, and 2 in Frozen. If not those, then the other 8 are on the overworld. The whirlpool one, maybe?
Anyway, nice 0-death run!
Finished it!
Thanks for the few words of advice I managed somehow. I almost feel sad since it had to end and I was enjoying all the power and looking forward to being the tyrant in Hyrule in place of Ganon.
I thought it may have been just dead space on the maps but felt the need to check because that much area would have made an awesome side quest or two.I had a great time playing this and found myself using old skills to clear screens quickly.
Giving this 5 stars because I know how much effort it takes to create something this playable and still keep it close to classic.
Thank you for all your help and advice.
No problem, thanks for playing.
If it were more story-driven, there might have been room for more side-quest material. You know, subplots with different characters and deeper world history and all that. As it is, there's only so many items and enemies available, so it's probably best to not stretch them too thin. Plus, the base classic tileset only has so much visual variety on top of that. There'll have to be a new quest with a new set to take it further.
(Also, if you really want to play the bad guy, The Adventure of Kain should suit you well.)
