Made it to Level 8 and now stuck.  One screen to the right of the Level 8 cave entrance there is a chest.

There is a target to shoot with arrows that causes blocks to rise or go down. Is it required to shoot an arrow from the left of the screen then quickly make it past a block before it rises?  I have tried this a hundred times and cannot make it.  Hopefully there is another way that I'm just not seeing or my game may be done. Maybe what is in the chest is not needed to continue?  Similar question in the bottom room in Level 8. I a timing move involved with the candle to beat the rising block?

I'm enjoying this quest now and can't find the boss key for Level 2.

I've read the message about "numbers", but don't know what to do...

Could anyone give me a clue?

Hey, glad you're enjoying the quest!

 

Hint 1:

You can use the dungeon item to light up the unlit orbs, which may reveal secrets that might help you.

 

If that's not enough, Hint 2:

Once you reveal the map in the room with the hint about the numbers, you just have to go to each of the rooms marked on the map in order of the number marked on the tile.

I could manage to get the big key and the triforce in Level 2.

I've done wrong thing all the time at the room with number three.

 

By the way, the design of the overworld of this quest is so beautiful and memorable

that I can explore comfortablly even without a space-bar map.

I have troubles again... Any clue or advice would be appreciated!

 

1. In Level 7, I can't solve the puzzle after seeing Din.

 

2. In the cave of the combustible lemon, I can't open the chest.

1. Not sure which puzzle specifically you can't solve here, so there are three possible puzzles you could be stuck on here. Solutions to each puzzle in the order you should encounter them (to avoid any spoilers) in the three spoiler-tags below.

 

Puzzle 1:

The stair that appears and disappears with the candle requires you to go to the other side of the dungeon to find the other route.

 

Puzzle 2:

The pegs that seem impassible require the use of the dungeon item.

 

Puzzle 3:

The impassible door requires you to return to where you found the compass.

I can't solve the puzzle in Level 8, which is in next room to where Din tells "I can open the path to the Triforce."

Would you mind helping me again?

(The puzzles in Level 7 were very tough and exciting!)

So you've reached what we unofficially call the "final boss puzzle" so forgive me if my speech is unclear or absurd, because it's a bit hard to describe. This puzzle requires the use of the hammer/wand, mirror shield, fire gem, feather, and the boomerang to complete. It has multiple solutions as well.

 

Solution 1: First you use the hammer or wand to lower the pegs in the center, next use the boomerang while standing on the lowered pegs to raise the pegs. Walk over to the other side of the room using the feather, place the fire gem by the door, then jump back to trigger the armos with the mirror shield, finally, swap places with the fire gem.

 

Solution 2: First use the hammer/wand to lower the pegs, then place the fire gem near the entrance. Use the boomerang to raise the pegs again, then jump around the room to the exit and swap places with the fire gem. Jump around again to trigger the armos with the mirror shield, then swap places with the fire gem again.

 

There may be other solutions I'm forgetting, but these should get you through it.

Hi Rainst0rm4759, I managed to reach the ending!

Thank you very much for the great quest and many kind help, and I look forward to seeing the sequel.

 

After all I have 2 questions:

 

1. After you use the harp in overworld, the noise of flying doesn't stop untill you enter the shop, the cave or somewhere.

  Is it a bug or not? I'm using ver2.55 alpha92.

 

2. At the room that the compass indicates a red point in Level4, that has 3 green statues and a locked door,

  I couldn't find anything special. What's the meaning of that?
