NJF Plays Metroid Prime (27 - Impact Crater)

Description:
Samus finally obtains all of the Chozo Artifacts which are used to seal an evil away in the large meteor inside the impact creater. However, as Samus was about to enter, her plans were crushed by Ridley, who ambushes Samus and destroys the gateway to the ultimate evil. Sworn enemies for an entire life time, Samus and Ridley engage in their fated battle, Ridley desires revenge for his defeat on Zebes, and also holds a desire to test all his new robotic abilities on Samus. However, even with his new upgrades, Ridley is no match for Samus.
As Ridley faces defeat, he is quickly tossed aside by the Chozo Temple itself, recognizing Samus worthy to enter the impact crater. Allowing access inside the meteor, Samus encounters powerful Phazon evolved Metroids in here called Fission Metroids.
Very powerful Metroid's who's only true weakness seem to be Power Bombs. Samus uses what few Power Bombs she has to reach the darkest chamber of the meteor.
Here, Samus meets a horrible Dark Creature named Metroid Prime who is supposedly the source of all Phazon on this planet. Metroid Prime has fused itself with the strongest armors and weapons of the Space Pirate army when it was earlier being tested by the Pirates before it escaped their grasps. This is the most powerful Metroid Samus has ever faced, and it's origins are a complete mystery.
Fortunately, Metroid Prime shares the same weakness as the Pirates infused with Samus' beam technology. This leaves Metroid Prime's armor exposed to whatever types of weapon she is using. But unlike these pirates, she can change her armor's structure and powers at will, forcing Samus to constantly be on guard.
Samus, after a tiring battle defeats Metroid Prime, only for Prime to reveal its true form. An octopus like Metroid creature which appears to have a near human face. Metroid Prime is now invulnerable to all weapon types and is seemingly invincible.
Metroid Prime, oddly enough only carries one weakness. Metroid Prime carries so much Phazon that it must deposit its supply often. Samus learns this weakness and uses its own deposits to form a Phazon Beam, overloading the Metroid Prime with its own Phazon energy, therefore destroying it.
However, before Metroid Prime's defeat, it transforms in a cellular form and robs Samus of her Phazon Suit before it seemingly perishes. Samus, now in the Gravity Suit escapes the meteor before it is destroyed. Samus, with her job complete leaves Tallon IV to begin her next mission.
