hopefully bosses here are a bit more balanced. some of the custom ones in Promised Lands were like mehhh, felt like just trying to tank some of them out. Dungeons were nice though. Though I don't think there was a red mail in that quest.
hmm, are we seeing the fairy fountain concept at work here? would be interesting to see that, getting upgrades for some items

We've had that conversation about the bosses a few times already... (including in this very thread 
)
And yes that's a fairy fountain. Some more surprises await but I'll leave them for the players to discover.

Quick update: the first round of beta testing is done. We're doing a second round for extra polish and to try and detect any bug that could have gone unnoticed the first time.
Sounds pretty good! Looking forward to seeing more updates on this

That's great to hear! I'm truly looking forward to this quest; with all the features that you've described, this quest appears awesome. And knowing your previous quests, I know this will be a great one.

Going very well, but you can expect it'll take a few weeks to replay through everything thoroughly.
