I'm stuck. I'm on the screen on Season Isle where you need Din's Fire, but don't know how to get it. And I don't have the Silver Arrow, if you need that...

Yes, Dins Fire is the last thing you get in the level. The Silver Arrow is what you need. Hmmm... I don't really know where you are though. Are you missing a key or anything? If you at the screen of the Din's Fire, I am guessing you need to head south in the water in the fall. It will lead to a cave. Once out of the cave, you will go east and it will lead to the path to the silver arrow. Hope that helps.

I've seen a cave, then came to a screen with a bridge where the other side is blocked and a silver bug is there. Am I in the right spot? Not really sure. I was originally at the screen after where I was stuck missing a key, where there's the stone that you have to stand on and use Din's Fire, in case you didn't know.

here i am back in hod - finally figured out to go slow and use the forum when necessary.
finished level 2 and the bosses seem very difficult but managable so far.

Anyhow in level 3 finally found the way to the next floor and can
t get past it. i need another key and can't find one in the opening level. went through each room and bombed every wall,(i think) tried moving things; used my arrow and boomerang on every item (i think)
and still cant find a key.

on the lava floor, used the moving steps to get to the top left corner, but need a key.
Even managed to walk over the lava to cross the middle section, (lost one of my potions to get that far) but cannot reach either of the other two land masses - think i need the ladder and the better boomerang to hit the switch in the lower left corner. either or both of which is behind the locked door (i hope).

I also spend a long time reading through the forum looking for help, but couldn't or didn't find what i was looking for.
i would appreciate some help here.

Yeah, I know where you are, I guessed right. So just do what I said:

you need to head south in the water in the fall.

So you have to go there in the autumn and you can get in the cave.

Hmm... I wish I knew which key door you were at to guess correctly where you are at. But I am guess you didn't get the key at the very top of the lava floor. Go travel across the moving steps and go up. It will lead to a block puzzle. One screen right and one screen up will lead to the key. It is right there, you can't miss it. Then you will go the key door and get the Magic Boomerang.

thanks for the prompt response - i did go to the top of the lava and found the moving block puzzle and covered all the spots and it causes the blocking tiles at the top to shift from the two at the back to the two at the front so i still cant go to the right.

tried to move the blocks to different spots but each block will only cover its specific tile.

even tried to bomb past the blocking tiles or bomb around them or bomb the lantern - used the arrow and lantern on all the pieces. i am missing something very subtle i think

You have to push the top block into its spot last. So that you can run through.

You know what? I was stuck for no apparent reason. I forgot about how treetops were on the upper layers

Hi Shoelace. This has been a great quest. Me and my friend have been playing it non-stop for the past month. I have made it to the Last Level, tracked down all the keys, as well as the master key. I've made it to the battle with The Last Boss, but I am completely stuck as to what to do. nothing I've tried hitting him with has worked (Din's fire, silver arrow, hammer, wand, etc.). Could you provide any clues as to what to do?

Also -- I noticed on this level as I was retrieving one of the keys, in one of the "Winter" scenes, there seems to be something shining behind one of the fixed trees. But, I was not able to see what it is. This is in The Last Level as well. Thanks!

Great storyline too, by the way. Sounds like you are setting up nicely for your sequel.

OK, for the first part, you have to reflect fireballs onto the real one. By the way, for the second part, a certain "item" the octoroks should give you should be a clue for how to hurt him. By the way, the areas are timed, so you do need to strike as fast as possible.

I editor your post so there wouldn't be any spoilers by the way. It is okay, I just want things to be a surprise when playing. Anyways:

The first part of the battle is dodge the fire and reflect the magic into him (The hardest part of him), then bomb his crystal shield, then fight the enemies, then the magic battle. In that you have to press Up A when the energy ball is at you. Then it will go through a repeat and then you should be at the end. Hope that helps.

Hmm... I am not sure if you have the silver arrows. I am taking you do, so you are going to get the last key. Anyways, go up one make it fall, then go all of the way right. It will lead to a statue that says something like, "In the Spring come back here". So do that turn it to spring, kill the bugs, get your key. That should work.
