The two squares in Northern Remdra had to be inaccessible because of the perspective on the mountain being different and there being no way to transition to either of the immediately adjacent areas. The screens in Southern Remdra have no excuse to not be there though, and that's still one of my biggest gripes with the game. Perhaps it's a petty thing to be upset over, but it bugs me.

I gave up this quest as later dungeons are too huge and complex for me , but really enjoyed boss fights, and thanks for a lot of helps.

I think i found a bug with the Stan boss battle. when ever i get hit with his flame attack i lose some of my magic, is that normal?

Working as intended. His black fire burns away your magic when it hits you.

Ok. Was it supposed to take a third of my magic. I got hit by the attack twice, first time it was normal and the second hit took my magic down 4 times, that's what i want to know if its normal

It takes magic away for each flame that passes through you, so the more direct the hit the more it drains.

There were at least two areas of the quest that seem to be impossible, or at least nigh-impossible to avoid damage in. Which made hero mode rather... annoying at times. One was during a side scrolling section with a bunch of mimics, where you needed to use the hookshot to get up the ledges, but as you needed to hit right to land on them, the mimics activate their fire attacks which ALWAYS have enough range to reach the player no matter how they land on the platform. I think the intended solution was to use the boomerang on them then hookshot up, then stun them again with either, but they usually went out of stun state faster than i could move. I basically had to just die after killing the first two mimics and come back for the third one.

 

The other one was in the jungle bonus dungeon, where you had to move against a conveyor belt with giant traps on it, which were ALWAYS faster than you, and even worse they had the metal faced enemies that nearly require the hammer to hit, but if you use the hammer you pause in place and get hit, so you basically had to just... dodge them and hope their AI wouldn't make them turn at the last second. I can't imagine how hard a three heart run would be for this game, especially with less upgrades. I mean, at least for the first one that was a mandatory part of getting through level 8.

Also what's the ratio for max bombs to powder kegs? I wanted to know because i'm at the prismatic gate and was wondering if eight would be enough to make him doable at least. Oddly enough, lumen was actually really fun to fight because she actually had tells to her attacks (subtle as they may be), but I remember venser in level 7 just... turning at random and doing this without pausing. Which kind of forced me to fight him from as far away as i possibly could, but considering the size of that arena, that was a nice wish. I hope the level 9 fight isn't even SMALLER.

 

Edit: Wow this fight pulls a lot of cheap punches to make sure you die. The arena is SO tiny and summoning bomb wizrobes and bubbles... ESPECIALLY THE BUBBLES, since there's no way to kill them. I mean i technically could kill the bomb wizrobes, but dodging them is all but impossible. is there like, a trick to them that i'm missing or should i just man up and accept getting hit all the time since there's little to no room to move? I mean it's fitting that this is by FAR the hardest quest i've ever attempted, with over 300 (non retried) deaths, compared to hidden duality's 67 and isle of the wind's 43. I haven't finished lost isle yet, but 20 deaths by the third dungeon seems vaguely reasonable... again, compared to over THREE HUNDRED. I just... I get that hero mode is supposed to be hard and all, but honestly, the damage you take is absolutely insane in this game.

 

Edit2: Okay so apparently 8 is the maximum, but that doesn't matter much because in order to force him to go directly into phase 2, i'd have to charge the hurricane spin and for some bizarre reason the wizrobes teleport into my sword as opposed to me. The result would have bee the same regardless, but it's really weird.

Venser at Prismatic Gate is designed to be a "hopeless" boss batte. You are never meant to beat him there - if you would die, Zelda teleports you away at the last second and the story continues. Beating him is only for players who want to suffer, and you are rewarded generously for undergoing the suffering that is beating him there. However, Venser lives regardless of wherever you beat him there or not.

Venser II is a shitty boss if you're actually attempting to kill him. My biggest regret with him is underestimating the number of players who would retry until they win. On hero mode, spamming him with the wand + super bombs once phase 2 starts is probably your best bet if you absolutely want that staff. I wish I had done better to convey "You're not supposed to win this", but oh well.
