where's the archer with the Pickaxe?  I've been searching around the entrance to the eerie catacomb during all 4 times and nothing.

The last few appearances of the Archer are all inside dungeons. That's true for the rest of the ones you wouldn't have by this point as well.

In other news, I've cleared up one mysterious script error with the help of ZoriaRPG and uncovered another I haven't quite unraveled yet. It isn't something game-breaking, but it is annoying. However, it's placement is such that it is unlikely that anybody would even notice it was there.

I'm also just about done with testing the advanced cutscenes and expanded save point version, so it should be showing up in the database soon. The download will be the same as before, i'll just zip the 2 files into one and submit that.

I'm just repeating here the same notice I posted in the forum for the Fall Expo. Version 2.0 has been submitted and should be available shortly. I've tested all of the enhanced cutscenes as well as expanded continue points myself and everything works. I'm currently working in concert with xenomicx to add some graphical polish to some areas.

There is a gold arrow trigger in the night temple of time entrance. Is it anything important? I'm about to unlock the final level.

Also, Golden beasts. I have eight. How many am I missing?

That's a normal arrow trigger actually. You need to hit it to get an item later in the dungeon.

There are 10 golden beasts, but the last can't be defeated until you get the Silver Arrows from the final dungeon. If I knew which you'd faced, I could better direct you to the others. Or I could just tell you where they're all at.

1. Golden Armos- at day, to the west of the Floating Labyrinth.

2. Golden Darknut- at dawn, on the north end of the desert, east of the Gerudo Stronghold. Requires Silver Arrows.

3. Golden Goriya- at twilight, usually on the cliff leading to the Windswept Jail. (He can appear in the area below, but not often.)

4. Golden Leever- at night, north of the Reptilian Redoubt.

5. Golden Lynel- at dawn, in the area west of the Windswept Jail.

6. Golden Moblin- at dawn, in the forest between the graveyard and the village with the Abandoned Villa.

7. Golden Octorok- at twilight, north of Isolated Isle.

8. Golden Rope- at night, south of the Eerie Catacomb.

9. Golden Tektite- at daytime, in the area near to the Noxious Marsh. Right now, he has a tendency to wander off screen and kill himself, but I'll eventually fix that.

10. Golden Wizzrobe- outside the Abandoned Villa, at twilight.

I've occasionally thought about increasing how many of these there are, their strengths or scripting them; but I haven't got around to it yet.

You say 8 but listed 10. I got the Darknut already. I will double check the others. :-)

I must have triggered that eye switch early on. I visited the temple and cleared some puzzles after C. The color confused me. Thanks. :-)

Edit...Leever was one. I think Lynel is the last.

So, Eppy is playing the latest version of the quest (as of Sunday, December 6th). You'll want to check the DMap destination of the north/south overworld wrap sidewarps, because one of them at night seems to be taking him into the Temple of Time. A blank room filled with bats. It's possible to F6 out of, at least. Also, check the miniboss of the Pegasus boots dungeon. It can fly offscreen and die.

Found the odd warp in one try. Good thing you're watching those videos, because I haven't been able to.

Correcting that bug with the Miniboss is a fairly simple code fix. (I'd just have to remove one line from his programming.) If Eppy doesn't need the correction for that warp, I may hold off on submitting it until some other things are done.

Dunno if this has been brought up already, but this happened:

eiB6gcf.png

I entered the screen from the bottom-right and when I F6'd, I ended up here and I'm now permanently stuck (tried saving and everything).

Also, where do I even find Level 2? I was told to go south of Hyrule Castle and I found Level 3 instead.

That is an unanticipated consequence of the way that the continue point system is set up. There have been a number of unintended bugs caused by it, but fixing them shouldn't be too hard. What I'll do is move the time warp back onto this screen (it was there before, but was moved for reasons that are now obsolete) and make it where anyone who walks onto this screen from that corner and F6 won't encounter this same bug.

As for level 2, the game actually has no hints at all to finding the first two dungeons. I did however, provide directions to all of the dungeons in the 119th post in this thread so I wouldn't have to repeat them a thousand times. I'll try to have that update loaded later today.

Just finished the updated version which includes the first stage in the development of enhanced graphics, created with the aid of xenoimicx. I fixed all of the buggy warps that I know about, along with that area where you got stuck in Eddy. Once it updates, there will be a time warp near that save so you can escape.

The enhanced time warping script isn't yet working to my satisfaction, so I'm holding off on that for now.

5. Daylit Crevasse- either take the vines north of Hyrule Castle at day to a cave and go through it to a hill on the far side or cross the bridge at night and switch the time to day on the far side.

Been trying to make sense out of these directions but I don't see any vines north of Hyrule Castle. I've also tried the other method but I dunno what bridge to cross.

Edit: Nvm, didn't realise that they aren't directly north of Hyrule Castle.

Edit 2: Heading to Level 6 now and I realised I still don't have the Blue Tunic yet. Can I even get it at this point?

If you finished the Daylit Crevasse and got the Pegasus Boots, then yes. You can get that and the 2nd sword. The Blue Tunic is behind a pile of rocks in the desert near the 2nd dungeon. The 2nd sword is behind a pile of rocks near the Daylit Crevasse. There are a few in-game hints about them, but only if you talk to everybody. (And some only if you talk to everybody multiple times or after getting lower-level items.)

Should Nayru actually give me the harp? I play in 2.50.2 and she says she gives the harp to me and I hold it over my hand, but there is no harp in my equipment.

Yes, she should. This bug was caused by my failure to remove the setup for the alternate warping mechanic designed by ZoriaRPG. I've been having trouble getting it to work on my system, so I didn't include it. However, part of the setup included changing the item class of the harp; which required me to also change it on the subscreen. I forgot to do that, so it would no longer appear.

Fixing it is fairly easy. Since the quest isn't passworded, just open it; go down to the subscreen section (Quest->Misc Data->Subscreens) and adjust the Active subscreen so that the blank spot is for the Whistle instead of whatever it is now. I'll upload a fix to the database as well so that no one else has this problem.
