Ok, I have enough... I'm not a fan of James quest, sorry. It's the first time ever that a quest crushed my nerves in difficulty terms.

Okay, it's not that hard.
But it's up to you if you don't like it and want to rate a zero.

Don't get me wrong. I was liking this quest a lot until level 6, but your enemies are awful >.> They aren't fair. The quest is beatable, but fighting this kind of enemies is unfair and boring. Maybe fans of "pure challenging quests" will find this game worthwile. Do you really think that these enemies are good? I don't find these enemies in ALTTP.
The real problem is the lack of shorcuts in the dungeons, that makes the quest tedious.

...this is not Link to the Past in ZC. It's similar in many ways, but it's still not A Link to the Past.

I don't know what equipment you have, but if it's hard wouldn't you think you need to get better equipment and more health? Again, this is just a assumption/suggestion.
BTW started this quest, I just finished the second dungeon of the game.

Level 6 wasn't that tough. If any level is tough, it's the secret tunnel.

I picked up the enhanced soundtrack and I'll see about starting this quest up in a few days. Seems like its going to be good.
(The music is awesome :3)

Nah. As you see, I have lot of hearts, L4 sword and Blue mail. I suppose that the Red Mail is in a dungeon, so i'm very sure that I am well prepared.
I'm a bit masochistic today, so maybe then I'll go to try level 8. I hate to leave things halfway, It isn't my style. I have never discontinued a quest when I'm so near the end. I'm expecting flawed dungeons this time, I hope that I can deal with the enemies.

Something worth noting is that a lot of enemies in this quest are strong against the sword compared to other weapons. So when you find a new enemy, always try everything available. The last two dungeons have scripted bosses, so you won't have to worry about anything as bad as levels 6 and 7's bosses.

But, is there any logic about it? How can I figure the weakness (without trial and error)? The ice enemies are very obvious for example, but others...
Looks like the quest recovers his quality in level 8. And I'm glad that I give it another chance (Still, annoying enemies, but at least I feel enought powerful now and the level looks interesting).
Levels 6 and 7 needs HEAVY improvements. They are hard as balls, and that boss is just... >.> Believe me, I'm not a guy that like complaining about difficulty. Very few people would like this game with this difficulty.

Ice and undead enemies are generally weak to fire. Some undead enemies are also apparently weak to the silver arrows, not sure how that works. Bombs are pretty effective against a lot of enemies so I've heard, but then again what isn't weak to a good old explosion logically? A lot of enemies are also weak to the boomerang in the sense that it can stunlock them. This is helpful against the new enemies in level 9. And I'm sure you knew this already, but the various bubbles you've encountered so far are weak to the magic boomerang.

Yes, I know it. I doubt the game is beatable without the long boomerang xD
Sorry if I was annoying yesterday, these two levels crushed my nerves totally. And the level 7 boss was the cherry >.>
