Trudatman, with this last fix you'd made this quest improved up to 98 %
Only thing I have to check is the snorkel house (hope I find easy)

okay, guys. thanks. I'm away for the weekend and I have a list of things I need to fix from playing through myself, so there will be another fix update next week. thanks again. I know I've played through that whole last dungeon, but it has been a long time. I'll investigate ASAFP.

congratulations to Pat Garret; you TRUly whooped upon this quest! even if you didn't find every item, you still have made it further than anybody else I've heard from (and fast). there are a bunch of small problems with the quest that I found while playing through (and I'm only up to level six), so there will definitely be more fixes in the future, but you've shown that it works as a quest you can play from start to finish. I hope you enjoyed it and it's quirks. did you have any favorite parts? least favorite? hardest? any additional feedback you can provide would be awesome. thank you so much for you help so far, too. well, rock on with a sock on, duder. holler!

Well then I am down to just two questions.

1) Where is the hooksot? and
2) How did you get past that room in the final dungeon?

Otherwise I think I've got everything.

FerentzRocks" my truly friend!! I know you got the power to find or locate these items you asked for! and more!!!
But if you want me to point the location for this, is ok, just let me know and I'll do it!
Trudatman supposed to clear things for this quest, sometimes he's scrambled with other problems
hope he don't mind if I put some points in "clear" --- remember this is only a quest,, I mean.. a game!!

not sure what you mean about "clear," but the hookshot has been removed from level eight, so you have to buy it. that room must be passable, 'cause we've done it. Vravelo, I thought you quit before finding the last, 64-room dungeon. either way, you were the first to kick this quest's ass, so thanks again for that. you have ALL been very helpful and the improvements I've made and will make rely on your input, so don't hold back any comment, especially if it relates to a bug or glitch. another update next week. holler.

WELL!!
,
By "CLEAR" I mean... tell the exact location of anything!
e,i, some helper leave a bit of guessing to the player...!
I never do that" I point to the exact location, "like" *go two screen north and bomb left wall" ..etc.etc)
that's going straight to the problem!
(some quest maker don't like this way of helping the player --spoil a little bit)

it's fine; if you want to help somebody, go for it. so, did you play through the 64-room final dungeon in the NorthEast town?

OK, how about at least a hint as to the location of the shop that sells the hookshot? I have looked all over the overworld for such a shop. I have checked every screen at least twice. Yes, I am sure I am missing something, but some direction might help.

Thanks.

FerentzRock if you want to buy the hookshot is up to you but you can get for free
I put a walkover with pictures ----- enter level 8 as the pictures show and see where to go out
walktrough pictures ... !HERE!
,
You can buy this at shop number 4, is sold for $333 along with fire boomerang and silver arrow
don't remember where is that shop now, but everything is for free, don't need to pay!

No. That's not the hookshot anymore. That's my problem. It's the fire boomerang in the newest versions of the quest. When I played originally it was the hookshot, but now it's not. Thanks for trying though.

This isn't a big deal but it's the only thing I'm missing in my entire inventory and I'd like to finish the quest. I have been in every shop I know of and haven't found it for sale anywhere.

it's not at level eight anymore, but I think it's still at the shop he mentions. in the snow section there is a shop with a breakable jar directly in front of the door. I think it's still available there.

level three is reached through level two, right? level three is the one in that same snowy region, right?
