If your talking about the crystal that you shoot with the arrow to lower water I did that. Now that the water is down I still can't go very far, only to the room with the chest. This is where I'm stuck. Am I missing something? Is there something else you shoot?

With the water lowered follow the lower path until you reach a room with a Shutter next to a bed of spikes. Go east and shoot the crystal and the water will raise. Then, backtrack all they way to the treasure chest.

Head North of that room. There is a light colored block. Bomb it, destroy the enemies, then move a block where you bombed the light colored block, a warp will appear. Take the warp and head back to that treasure room.

And once you get the treasure mentioned above by Bowser, make sure you use it extensively in each room of the dungeon. Otherwise you'll be scratching your head a lot.

Thanks BB, got thru lv4. Am on my way to lv5 but I think I'm going to need some potion. Where can I get the bottle or letter or whatever it is I need? Should I have the red candle by now? If so I never found it.

It is in the far northeastern part of Hyrule. It is one screen <--- and north of a mini game house. Use a Bomb to enter a cave where you'll have to complete a puzzle to get your Bottle.

Should I have the red candle by now?

Level-7 has the Red Candle.

Remember, think where all the secrets were in the Original 1st Quest.

Look very carefully at the mountain wall in the far north east. There is a crack there. That's where you have to Bomb that crack.

Yeah, Bowser, about that... I'm reeeeeeally stuck on how to solve that block puzzle. I tried for like 15 minutes. I was tired when I did it, granted, but I don't want to get all frustrated again by it... Could someone offer me, like, a hint at least?

What Level are you in?

I think he's referring to the bottle cave puzzle:
Push the far left 4-way block up one space, right one space. Then push the bottom left-only block all the way to the left, then push the far left up/down block all the way down. That should get you started on the right foot.

All I could find was shops that SELL potions and magic and caves where I got more magic. I've bombed every cracked wall I could find with no luck. Been to the red section of the mountains, and the snowy area down to the graveyard and still no luck. I found one mini game and I could go <-- but not north, so I went > and north then << and the only thing I found was lv9.
