Before Link can continue, he must leave the Abyss to recuberate and recover his resources, but it isn't before long Link finds himself drawn to the forbidden Abyss. When he returns, Link is forced to take on one of the Golems hiding deep within the Abyss to move on. Defeating this Golem takes him ever closer to the darkness that lies deep below.

Link after successfully passing a few more unholy tests finally reach a chamber containing 3 large Golems holding the key that seals the most evil essence in the world. Why has Link gone this far to break a seal that contains so much evil? Link soon after, with key in hand enters the unholy chamber to fight the creature that should never have been seen by a mortal's eye and is easily defeated by this powerful fiend. Now with the seal broken, Link must live with the choices he has made and inevitably prepare himself for the toughest battle of his life, or lose all of Hyrule by carelessly exploring a place he should have never explored.

Link returns to the clouds to enter the Hall of Memories where Link will face all his meanest foes in an attempt to earn an item that he will need to defeat the ultimate fiend that still sleeps inside the Abyss. After Link defeats Moosh, Champion of Haribo (Haha!), he finally obtains his Light Arrow. Eager to return and defeat Tartaros, a new challenger approaches.

I remember saying that the Stan fight didn't seem too hard after watching a youtube video of someone beating it on Hero Mode. Then it took me around 5 tries to get to the final phase, only to be destroyed by his barrage of tornados (seriously, i suck at dodging these).

 

And after thinking for a while, i agree with Evan about ??? being a better designed superboss.

I'd say though, in term of animations, Stan has the best ones i ever seen in a ZC custom boss.

Link obtains the Golden Arrow, but before he is able to return to the Blighted Abyss, he is confronted by a mysterious figure in a test to see who is the superior swordsman. It turns out when defeated, he reveals that his elder mentioned that Link would one day serve as a worthy successor. This random encounter ends, and Link is finally able to return to the Blighted Abyss to take on Tartaros.

Honestly, I love how every boss comes off as impossible on the first attempt, then slowly becomes more doable every retry. Then you get to that point where victory is within your grasp but just out of reach. Then you get into a phase of doing worse due to frustration. Finally, after a lot of pain, suffering, raging, possibly a broken controller/keyboard later, you finally emerge the winner. This is based solely on observation mind you. I guess it's safe to say bosses like ??? are going to become the new gold standard for final bosses and bonus bosses alike? Laugh at any attempt to exploit gameplay mechanics to your advantage, such as abusing hookshot i-frames, Nayru's Love, abusing the fact you cannot receive contact damage while a boss is damaged and using the feather to name a few?

 

Either way, kudos to being one of the first to take ??? down in Hero Mode.

I think I was the first to take him down in Hero Mode without using the ring from Stan.

 

Evan doesn't count, he has super powers.

 

Man, did my thumb ever hurt on the first night of fighting this guy.

Now holding the Golden Arrow, Link returns to Tartaros. But still his decision to break the seal to the Blighted Abyss is certainly something to regret since this is a fiend that cannot be defeated. It'll take a miracle for Link to save Remdra now.

In this alternate story arc, as mentioned before, Link decided to ignore his fateful battle with Venser to explore the Blighted Abyss, the forbidden territory. Link has discovered very much so why this place should for all time remain sealed. His adventure has even taken him to the sky to defeat even his memories. Still, despite Link's attempts to find some way to defeat the fiend Tartaros, it appears at this time Link has doomed Remdra because this beast surely is an unstoppable foe.

When all hoped seemed lost, Link realized there was hope at the end of the tunnel when he had a sudden realization that Tartaros could in fact be beaten. However, Tartaros isn't going to go down that easily, oh no! Just as Link amps up his game, so does Tartaros leading to an epic conclusion to this long and drawn out battle.

While distracted with what could by Remdra's and Hyrule's greatest menace. Venser was able to obtain more of his true might and has become an ever menacing villain. Link could have risked it all letting Venser gain so much power, but Link himself as well became ever more powerful and wiser after the defeat of Tartaros. Using the skills from his previous battle, Link saves Remdra from the menace Venser once and for all. Or at least until he returns according to his final warning, but it's safe to assume that this day may never come in the current lives of Hyrule's and Remdra's citizens. Zelda decides to send ships over from Hyrule to aid in Remdra's reconstruction.

I'm feeling pretty stupid atm, but I forgot where to go from this spot:

I activated this generator and now I don't know how to progress or where to go. I've been wondering around for a bit but I got no clue lol. I also have a key and dunno where to use it (I already used one to open a path in the southern mines)

I believe you follow the railroad tracks as they are conducting electricity. Sometimes the railroad tracks are broken, but you'll get the general idea where they are going.
