I didn't know Like-Likes could eat Mirror Shields. If you saved, I think your screwed. If you didn't, you may have to quit-retry...

Anyway.... The only shops I think you can reach at this point are.... Palm Island and Treetop village. Both of those I know have red shields.

Trimaster001: No I don't. If you can find someone that does, that would be cool. But I suggest going through the whole game so that you see every event. If you are at the 7th level, you should be able to get to the ending faster.

Evan the great: Like Likes, don't eat Mirror Shields. I tested that to make sure. Maybe you got the shields confused because you get the Mirror shield late in the game and it seems you are at Frodo's Hide.

On lvl2, I can't get to the key block that blocks the path to the chest with the bow (I have the key). I am sure I have to do something on the screen with the star-shaped tiles to lower the shutter on the screen to the right (that leads to a small chest), but I have no idea what to do. I read other posts about the boarder or something, but still can't figure it out. Thanks for the help.

One screen to the left and one screen up from the jail is the room with the shutter that leads to the bow. On the right wall (the bottom of it), there is a switch inside the wall.

Hi there,

I really like the quest, it's great! I solved Mt. Frost, got the flippers and should be on my way to Season Isle. I believe the only way to Season Isle is with the raft in Autumn Town. So here the problem occurs:

I have to play with betas (2.10, 9), because I am on a Mac - and there are only betas for Macs (VERY sad!). When I step on the raft in Autumn Town, it moves to the bottom of the screen. And then ZC freezes and the program just stops working, it gets terminated. I tried to transfer the savegame to a higher beta, but this version would not work with the savegame. So here are my questions:

1) Is there another way to Season Isle? Like swimming, using a Zora-eddy, ride on a cannon ball, finding the ultimate treasure: a plane ...

2) Is there a way to transfer savegames from beta to beta (on a MAC)?

Sorry for asking about betas, I know that it is strongly advised to play the quests only on regular releases, but as I said ...
So, if there is no solution to this, I cannot finish the quest. Then I've been beaten ...
But at least not from Garnon. Or did he manage to screw up ZC.... I think I get paranoid...

Yeah, the freezing up thing is a bug with the beta. I'm sorry, but you're pretty much screwed... sorry

Does anyone know how to solve the candle and arrow puzzle in the Golden Swamp.
I burned the trees blocking the way but they won't disappear. AHhhhhh!!!! helllp.

There is a red minitree covered by the branches of the southern trees on that screen. Burn it. Not too hard to see.

I think I found a bug. In death mountain, when I defeated Hot head and went to the room with the triforce, I saw some stairs and went up them without grabbing the triforce. When I went back in, I found out that I was at the entrance of the level again. I made it to Hot head again and went to the part where you have to shoot an arrow at him to find out that Hot head wasn't there and the door was closed. Now I can't get the triforce piece.

Oh, accordingleaf, yeah sorry about that bug. I have a fix for that actually and I guess I forgot to submit it into the database. So far that is the only real bug that people found, don't know why I missed that... Anyways, here is the fixed HoD quest file. Just replace it with your quest file of the previous one. The saved file will play the new one so don't worry. Anyways, tell me if it works or not:
