I only died 40 times to beat this quest (then again, I did hit retry after I lost to the final boss each time he beat me when I ran out of potion...still)

I give up. Son of a *****, The Final Boss is hard! Gawd. Too hard. That, and that stupid Nayru's Love didn't work when I used it and I had full magic �_�

Well, I know you can do it. The commander was harder, so I know you can do it. The only real hard part on him, is when he throws out fire. Once you got that down, you should be able to kill him.

hey kids! Wanna way to beat HoD in less than 1 hour? Here's how!

Oh... Well you could just keep trying. The boss of Frodo's Hide took me 70 deaths to beat. If you were playing it in 2.11, then you could port your game to beta 6 like I did and most of his attacks won't work.

Hey Revfan9, don't be telling people to play it on beta 6. I urge everyone to NOT play it on beta 6. Actually, don't play it on any beta. It is for 2.10. But why are you telling people to play my game and on a beta that doesn't allow you to even experience anything. Without damage combos, nearly all of the custom puzzles, puzzles, etc. don't work. Plus, I thought I remembered jman saying that secrets on layers don't work on that beta.

First, unlock the level 4 cheat in the quest (I WILL NOT TELL YOU HOW TO DO THIS!!!)

And hey, I don't respect at all that you broke into my quest. I know you must have got ahold of a password thing, and found out my password, and I don't like the fact that people do this. And, I knew you had done this. But don't go telling other people to do this. Because I find that very respectful. I actually don't want anyone going through my quest file. If I wanted people to see it, I would have left it unpassworded.

Anyways, sorry about the little rant, I just don't want people to do it Revfan's way. To me that is not enjoying the game. But Staci, I like how you said, "I only died 40 times". ONLY. My game must be hard if 40 is a small number. But yeah, when my betatesters were testing my game, I was like, "You will die 100+ times, most likely". So I made the game easier. For example, the spikes in level 8, took 4 hearts away. lol, dang I was evil.

Anyways, congrats on beating the game. Hope you enjoyed the game. Thanks a lot for playing and posting here to tell me how you liked it.

But yes, I played this quest a lot through the past 2-3 weeks. I tell you though, this wasn't easy at all.

Anyways, yeah that was my mistake on making the game too hard. I actually will fix things like that in my next games, as again this was my first game and I made a lot of mistakes. Oh, I actually didn't see the question because it was merged into this thread and I didn't know that. Anyways, for the first Cucco Book go to the the southeast corner of Hyrule Field and go into inside Vola Cave. The thing is, you won't be able to do the whole side quest until after the 6th level. Hope that helps.

Go left (from the entrance) until you can turn north, then go north until you can, then push the north statue to the left from the right. Congrats, you're in the fort!

Actually I got to level 4 on 2.10 (what? It took less than 3 hours, and I found some heart pieces I've not gotten before and 2 bomb upgrades ) because I was bored and it's pretty much the same as playing it on beta 12.

It wasn't that, maybe it was a little harsh. But I just don't like it, that people could get into my quest with that one program. I know it is going to happen anyways, but I don't want anyone telling anyone to do it.

Anyways, I am not mad at you Revfan9, so don't think that, I just thought it was a little disrespectful to tell people these things, when I have said time in and time before that I don't want anyone to do that. Yeah, I did make a lot of mistakes in my opinion. Thanks for liking the game, but I still have my views on how it could have been better. I am hoping when EotM comes out, that people will say, wow, this is way better than HoD. I am going to try to make EotM the perfect game. So I am going to put a lot of effort into it. And I will seek out those grammar errors!

Again, I am sorry about posting the instructions, but I personally thought it was pretty cool and a neat thing to do if you have already beaten the game. The reason I told people to play it in beta 6 is that you can truely give yourself everything in that version (I really want magic containers to come back to the cheats menu... Makes testing later parts of quests so much easier).

But from now on, I will keep these little things about your quest secret. K?

Ahha, I found a bug. When I was refighting bosses for no reason, in the 3rd one, I got stuck at the last door. Definitely not a Beta Bug.
