Joki meant the notes you have to repeat. Glad you figured them out. (You can't break that other thing by playing random notes, there's a safety against that)

Ive now got to a room where there is an electrified worm. (The ones from Zelda 3 near lake Hylia)

The magnet seems to stun them, but i can't kill them...

Thanks, I got through that area. I found some stairs I missed. I just used a key to access the room with the apple trees, and it seems like I wasted a key. I tried burning these things, but it isn't effective. The Deku Stick is pretty neat.

It may seem like you wasted a key but you didn't :P I made sure that's not possible. Keep looking for another key.

The level 2 boss sure is a piece of work Jamian! You've really out done yourself!

Can I just check, after beating level 2, and getting the song. Do you go straight to Nabooru?

Ive found two other places the song can be used. One to the right of the castle where a fairy asks for a ring, and the other just to the south of the lost woods entrance… leading to a sign maze.  Haven't solved these puzzles yet… Frankly, Im confused!

And where the hell do I find a magical shield?

First, thanks for release this. I finished L2 some minutes ago.

I'm enjoying a lot the stuff between dungeons, the overworld is way more entertaining than in Promised Lands. The world feels more like a "real world" and there are a lot of entertaining features.

Sadly, I can't say the same from the main dungeons. They are gimmicky to dead... There are too many puzzles (some great, some pointless), and very few moments of action or exploration. The dungeons in PL were way more better balanced between action and puzzles and they had more interesting themes and design. The layouts are a bit poor. Great ideas and stuff, but you abused a lot the ocarina... Sometimes I don't know if I'm playing a quest or Elite Beat Agents >.> All the new items only serve for concrete puzzles. Even the bosses feel like puzzles. The ocarina is the high point of the quest, but also the low point, weird.

I feel a bit mixed for now, I hope the rest of dungeons take another direction. It's an amazing effort, but for some reason isn't as fun for me as your other quests. Good quest anyway.

Such a wonderful quest so far. Absolutely enjoying myself. Can't seem to keep myself from playing it. That might be a bad thing. yes.

So I'm on level 3. I appear to be stuck, quite likely, though with my track record, by the time I receive help, I'll already have beaten the level ten minutes later. I'm currently looking for my first key. I do see one a few screens to the east of the screen we arrive in within Level 3, all locked up, and it looks like we could get there from the floor above, hypothetically. No pits or anything.

In the immortal words of the internet, wat do, plz?

---------

Additionally, I feel like I saw a place in the Lost Woods with a triforce mark on the floor. Refresh my memory, please; was it indeed there that I saw one? I know there's one near where we get the L1 sword, and there's one a little to the northwest of the exit to Nabooru town. But I found that one waaay after the Lost Woods, where I thought I saw the second one. Hm.

Dungeon 2 was my least favourite dungeon. Expect the battles to go more uphill from this point on. There are pretty intense and exciting battles in this game.

Dungeon 3 was one of my favourite dungeons in the game. Hopefully your mixed opinion will change by the end of dungeon 3.

I'm in the entrance of L3. One more time, I'm enjoyed a lot all the stuff between L2-3 (I have a blast). I'm a bit confused, because I was expecting quite the contrary xd Normally I enjoy more the dungeons than the overworlds in quests by Jamian. I loved all the dungeons in PL, but I found the two first dungeons here very tedious and slow paced. I will continue tomorrow =) Hopefully you are right, NJF.

PD: Btw, I still have the first sword. Am I ok with that sword in L3 or am i missing the second sword?

You will get the Lv2 sword before you reach Level 4.

Also, on another note:

well now I'm in level 4 and it's as labryinth like as the rest of the levels. It's not that big a deal but the sideview swimming areas seem really stiff, the controls are wack and it's hard to move around. Also in that whack a leever mini game. I honestly can't tell the difference between the red and green leever, they look the same to me. Another thing, it's weird how you can block while swimming in sideview but not in overhead. Blocking in sideview is good.

I always felt the sideview swimming in this game a little awkward. But you get the hang of it. The design seems like a preference, but not my preference. :P

Also, if you noticed the difficulty spike in level 4, it's not your imagination. The quest's difficulty jumps when you reach level 4 and then jumps again before level 6.

Jamian said that the first 3 levels "takes it easy" on the player. So congrats for reaching level 4. You're now witnessing the game's true difficulty. :P
