Hello,

Finished level 7, and before atempting lvl 8, want to get as much inventory as possible. I feel a little stupid that I can't find the slingshot. Any help at its location. Thnks in advance

The slingshot is back in Level 1. I think examining the map carefully should lead you to it, but here's the details just in case:

Head to the lower right corner of the level through the watery rooms. You'll have to bomb a wall on the way. When you reach a room with a big tree, walk behind it to access a passageway that leads to the upper left corner. The passage with the slingshot will be in plain sight.

I wasn't expecting to post until I finished your quest, but I don't know how to get to Level 8. I know it's in the mountains, but I can't figure out how to get to the dungeon.

You have to find a random, unmarked bomb spot on a screen below where L8 is to open the path. I didn't find L8 until after I had purchased the lens.

Sorry for the double post, but I'm stuck at level 8. I've seen two suspicious rooms: one with a sleeping sun and one with a key on another floor, but I don't know what to do.



This is the room with the key I can't reach.

I've tried bombing walls and walking through them, but all I end up doing is going around in circles through the dungeon, because it doesn't matter where I start; if I start going right and go on room by room, I end up getting to the entrance by the left. My bad, and I don't even know if my english is barely understandable.

I haven't acquired the lens yet.

In the upper left position of that loop you find yourself in, you can bomb the north wall. You'll find the map there, which should help with any remaining issues in that level. The lens is also available to you on the overworld. The location's spoilered. By the way, I can see from your screenshot you're doing a great job collecting stuff. Thanks for playing!

In the northeastern corner of the ruins, on the screen with the potion shop, dive in the water and bomb to find the lens in a shop for 450 rupees.

Thanks, now I've got the map, but can you believe that I still have no idea where to go? Yes, I'm that slow, and I don't want to waste more bombs =(

And I know where the lens is, I just wanted to finish the game without it

Ah, I see. Well ... The problem I imagine you have now is that you're missing a key. Ignore the one behind that wall for now, you're looking for one near the beginning.

At the sleeping sun room, walk through the right wall and defeat the enemies there. Push a block in this room to reveal a passageway and defeat the enemies on the other side for the key.

Finally!



- 2 heart pieces left.
- 1 magic expansion left, I suppose.
- Have 28 bombs and no upgrades on arrows, did I miss any expansion?
- 40 deaths. I guess I still have to improve my skills.

It was a great and fun quest, Aevin, and it was very well designed from start to finish (save for a few things here and there). And I totally agree with Moosh: you're depending too much on fake walls in the last levels, and sometimes (levels 8 and 9) they were too cryptic. I wanted to beat the game without the lens, but when I saw what was happening at level 9 I had to use it or it could have very frustrating for me. But overall I feel like this was an awesome modest quest, way better than many five star quests out there, and I enjoyed it a lot!

So, are you planning on developing another quest in the future?

Congratulations, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm taking peoples' suggestions to heart for future updates.

Let's see ... it seems you're missing one bomb/arrow upgrade, and yes, one magic upgrade. If you're at all interested in tracking down the extra stuff, I posted an optional item guide a few pages back. (It's also included with the latest download for the quest file.) Lots of people don't do as well filling out the equipment inventory, though. Great job!

Not that it's all about the numbers, but if you have the time I'd be thankful if you rated this on the quest page.

I don't have any current plans for another quest, but I'm fairly positive ZC will call to me again before long ... Thanks again for playing!

If I save in level 1, I start in level 1, but if i save in level 2, I start from the valley... I suppose that it isn't intended
