Beating him on Hero Mode is not something I'd recommend. Eppy, Moosh, and I have all done it, but it was a long, painful process. I was only able to do it once, after LOTS of trying, and... well, I think Moosh's avatar speaks for itself.

Helpful strategy I figured out

My strategy was to start the battle with a Hurricane Spin and use it to "skip" the first phase (thankfully, it does last long enough for this). The odds of it working are low, but the speed with which you'll burn through tries makes up for it, and it's somewhat easier when you can save all your Powder Kegs for phase 2.

Can you only fight him once without f6ing, or can you just come back after you get teleported away?

I think it's the former, if only because

he's in the room with the portal that takes you to the final boss fight, and the game in no way forces you to win that fight.

The last time I uploaded a video for this quest was immediately before the Starlight Temple, where after getting the Golden (Butter?) Suit and reaching the temple I stopped uploading videos. Mainly because I am a bit of a troll like that. Jk

Now i know for sure i won't try the Hero mode of this game. The medusa boss is already frustrating on Normal, i can imagine how it is on Hero Mode.

That one's a common deal-breaker for sure.

If you haven't won yet: long-range weapons are your best friends for that fight.

She did only killed me like 5 times. But i already can see that she's on that thin line of "frustrating but yet manageable" line on Normal. And the way i see it, Hero Mode seem to break that line and send it right to the "infuriating" line.

 

Level 12 is also another deal breaker for me.

How do you dodge the final boss AOE attack? The one that sends a wave of energy everywhere.

 

 

Edit: Nevermid. You are supposed to hit him with the sword to stop him from charging.

That one got me for a long time, too - I'd been using the Cane instead of the sword, so for several attempts I thought my only defence was Nayru's Love.

He attempted to charge the attack 5 times in a row at one point. I kept saying "Stop it!" each time he tried to charge it.

 

 

Welp, i'm missing two heart pieces. The walkthrough i'm using says there's one east of the bomb bag upgrade in Remdra Skies, but i have no clue where it is.

 

Edit: It probably means west instead of east because there's one west of the bomb bag upgrade, but already got that one.

I don't get this one. East, north and north again from where?
