Beckyj4: Using F4 makes everything faster, so don't bother. But, have you tried using the hookshot posts? Just keep trying until you get it. Level 4 is a pain, I know.

BTW Shoelace, I am really impressed with this game. I used to think how neat it would be to play a game and have hints that didn't give away the action you were to perform, just make you think harder as opposed to randomly trying every action possible in each screen. (My fingers don't work like they used to, and it is too easy to miss something)
Well, this Game provides that, and then some. The puzzles themselves are pretty neat, but coupled with the hints that make up a different type of puzzle, I'm amazed that any one person could come up with all of them. Sure does make the game fun to play.

Bleh... I feel like I'm giving up by asking for help, but I'm stumped. Also, I apologize if this was already posted. I used the Search button for "Three" and "Burning", but didn't seem to get anything. I've managed to get pretty far in the Burning Inferno dungeon (Got the level 2 Boomerang, map, compass, various small keys, ect.) and I'm at the miniboss before the Stepladder...
And I have no idea what to do to defeat it. Arrows don't work, ran out of bombs after concluding they didn't seem to work, lantern doesn't work, and the boomerang doesn't work. I've tried to use those above three items on the skull pots, lanterns, and walls in there but they don't seem to work either...
This is the very first quest I've downloaded (And the first time I've used Zelda Classic in... Months...) and I must say that besides for some grammatical errors and crashing during cutscenes (Of course, this is probably just my machine. ZC seems to run at 60-75% computer usage...) this quest is great. I didn't even know that you could have dialog to the extent that is shown in this game, odd subscreen things, and probably other things I can't think of right now before playing this quest. (Of course, the most complicated thing I've done in the editor is put items in caves...) Thanks for the awesome quest, Shoelace!

(Possible spoilers for you if you aren't on the third Triforce dungeon yet.)

Must be the dragon Gleeock. When he has fired a fireball, immediately run up and sword him. Then run. Repeat.
Fayez, you can melt the white ice block and push some of the ice blocks. This is indeed a difficult puzzle, but once you get through it, the worst is over for now.

Hey, do you wanna know what I just learned? Not all monsters are bad. Especially those that restore the use of your sword that you didn't have when typing out the post.
Edit: I also learned that this game is really hard... Curse you, Hothead. Arrows, Boomerangs, Lanterns, Super and normal Bombs, and even the White Sword don't seem to work against his incarnation after riding the lava floats. Well, Zelda games are all about exploiting weaknesses using items given in the dungeon.. Must find a way to use the Boomerang and Stepladder..
Edit^2: I also learned that this game would be alot easier if I played the original Zelda game. Thankfully a Zelda-wise friend pointed out the strategy of Hothead to me.

... I didn't know, and as far as I'm concerned, the dragon is the mini-boss. I didn't realize you were incapable of solving the puzzle by pushing the blocks to the center.

Err... Sorry if I sounded rude or anything. What happened was that on my first try I solved that little block puzzle, but ran away from the monster that 'cured' you of your inability of using the sword when I released it. After reading your post (And realizing that the first monster that restored your B item use) I tried getting hurt by the monster in the four block room... And finally gained use of my sword back. Yay for me not typing things out completely! Sorry.
