L4 isn't in Autumn Town. It is north of Autumn Town. First talk to Donmore in Autumn Town, then go north to Havasu Canyon. You will be able to get the hookshot and go west to the desert.

PS Found way to stop midi bug simply minimize zc then viola midi bug is gone until it happens again (it must be done every time the bug happens.)

I don't remember much, but what items do you have currently? And what mini-bosses have you defeated?

Just edited post above you check it out. Edit again ive gotten the ocerina and I havent gotten the red candle I dont remeber beating any mini bosses im not good with the flip thing.

Level 5: can't open shuttered door in the water fllor before the spirit of knowledge.

Hi i've killed two of the spirit bosses (life,passion). I have found all 6 keys (only 1 left unused), i have the wand and the big key.

I took the SW staircase down from the forest floor. There is a room full of water with a bunch of foes. I killed them and a chest with magic recharge appears.

I go north and there is a big one-eyed statue, a small torch statue, and a shuttered door that heads east. I think i need to go thru that door, but can't open the door.

I also tried the move where i shoot the wand at the torch just west of the entrance to level one, but that doesn't seem to take me anywhere useful until i can come in another way (via warp) and hit the switch that is there.

What am i doing wrong?? thanks.

PS. thanks for the help that was given before... i'm really having a great tiem with this quest, shoelace!

OK... find some way to get into the water area in the southern most area of the Forest Area.


Now I need help with Level 8. I got the master sword, so where are the keys for the next set of keyholes and white blocks?

fayez: Okay, go to the entrance. One screen to the right is a warp. once you warp, go three screens to the left. Use the ocarina to go down and there is a key in that screen. You will have to bomb the north wall by the way. The other key, which you most likely have, is up screen up from the warp. You have to do the block puzzle to get it.

Glad you are enjoying the game. Anyways, shoot the eye statue with the arrows to open the door. Then you will have to shoot the blue candle with the wand in the next screen. Hope that helps.

Link Statue on Palm Island.

I opened the statue with the ocarina, and when i go in everything is black and white and paused, that is, nobody can move except for me. Is that normal?

Anyway, I went in and explored a bit and found a bush i could chop down to reveal a hole. When i go in the hole, i'm inside a fort or something, but i can only get to the screens directly near me and can't go anywhere. There doesn't appear to be anywhere to hookshot to and everything is still paused. Then I can't get out and end up having to use the program to exit and then continue or save.

What am I doing wrong?? Is the pausing normal?

PS: thanks for the help on the level 5 shuttered door. i was sure i'd already shot arrows at all the stutes, but obviously not, because i opened that door straight away. thanks for the help!!

fayez: Go to the lower right most flip room. Make the brown blocks go down. Return back to the entrance and go up and follow the path to the key. The other: Do the same to get the brown blocks to go down and then returen to the entrance. One screen to the right is a warp, go in it. Then head south to the last key.

funky83: The pausing is normal. Well you fall into the hole, there is a switch on the other side that you have to hit with the boomerang. I think you missed it, because it is easy to get.

Shoelace, I want you to have the honor of shooting me. For months now, I've owned 2.10 on my computer, though it didn't work, I had "windowed" versions that did. So please, take this crossbow *insert Zelda got item music* (Shoelace got a crossbow! He can shoot Moonwhisper with it!)

I'm not asking a question. I'm stating that I've had 2.10, but I've been trying to find a working beta that'll let me play HoD... because I am a big idiot.

But, Still, Last Level. The Ice Floor. How am I supposed to beat that room with all the mirrors? (Hint of advice, don't use hookshot in room. You will get stuck and have to start the level over I found that out the hard way)

wheres level 5 ive done everything else to do at this point such as get double magic get book of magic get blue suit get blue bow i have 12 hearts and i think ive seen most of the fairy caves beat dragons keep vola cave gleens house donfeo cave and i may hold 24 bombs.
