Only if you create them on your own. Naturally occurring ones will still be the same length.

Ferox beaten. Swindling difficulty. Staff only. Starting HP. This... this was by far the hardest thing I've ever done in ZC. I've done damageless runs against all the final bosses in this quest, and even edited the quest to fight two of them at once and won. But this... this was something else entirely. If you're one of those people like Yloh or Milky who like a challenge, I'd highly recommend giving this a shot.

I played on Hard. The one below swindling. I also beat Ferox asap, but I used bombs and had a health upgrade. I think it might have been my favorite fight in the game.
I also got the true ending and beat the normal final boss too. I have to say, Evan, this quest is a total masterpiece. Weather related woes aside, the only complaint I can make is that sometimes it feels like the map is just here to be a field to tuck all these awesome bosses in. This is VERY much a boss game, and it's awesome.
This isn't a complaint because I kind of did a 100% run which by definition makes everything easier, but I also noticed that the further I went, the easier it got. The hardest part was Ferox up until Ramrock. Most of the other elemental spirits weren't much, the ice one was awesome, the others I kinda just facetanked and won without really knowing what was going on.
The high point is the two final bosses, though. Absolutely incredible, and you know, somehow you made me nostalgic for Isle of Rebirth. Nostalgia for a fangame. Well done.
I stand by my opinion that your work is "Dark Souls 2D." I enjoyed the game very, very much. Looking forward to playing it more, probably with self imposed challenges rather than going for Swindling mode. Does Swindling increase boss HP? The easier bosses in this game I felt were due to having somewhat low HP. My HP kept getting bigger, but enemy HP sort of stayed at a semi static level.
I think it may be time for me to start recording this one. After I get around to recording the second bonus boss of IoR like I've meant to for months.
Side note; I also now understand what Moosh meant by him ripping off you in LQFTH2. I saw some attacks that were veeeerrrry familiar, minus fedora tipping. :3

I think I maxed out finding almost everything except:
1. How do you get to the area one screen down and one screen left of the northeast corner of the map - the one behind the green peg?
2. How do I find what the NPC in in the cavern calls
3. Is there supposed to be an eighth item in the inventory (right of the mirror)?

Have you found the one in the grass with the push blocks? Have you got the one in the ice caves with the hammer triggers? Have you gotten all 4 in Sun Tower? Have you gotten the one in the room after beating Hauntrock? Have you gotten the one with a bridge and a lavafall? Have you checked all the random blocks in the overworld and killed all the enemies there?
This. Thank you.
I finished with the best ending, the real final boss was a walkover, but the extra hidden boss is a BITCH >.>

Your kind words mean a lot, good sir. ![]()
EDIT: The sole difference between difficulties is the damage.

So, I've found the hermit that told me to talk to Olsov about whether waking Horizon was a good idea or not. I thought this would advance some sort of story event so I went to talk to Olsov, but he wasn't there. Would any kind soul kindly tell me where to find him?

I'm gonna replay on Swindling soon. Two questions before I do.
There's 2 fights that don't end the game if you lose them. Any reason to beat them? One of them didn't even have an HP counter, suggesting he was invincible. The other I didn't have the lens yet to check.

Hera was one of the most disappointing bosses in the game, actually, because of how quick Ferox's Swarm ate him alive. Fighting him early sounds ideal. Just gotta actually beat Gaius in the spar...

Hera is a lot of fun if you fight her early, but yeah, she generally gets shredded by the other elemental abilities.
