Thank you....that was the warp I needed, finally, hidden behind the torch...I had everything else figured out but didn't know where the warp was located to take me to that critical room.  thank you for the help, I didn't know if I was going to get an answer to my pleas; so thank you very much

how am i sopose to beat the boss in brace dungeon too dang hard to beat him hes so annoying now.

Chief: There's a big rock somewhere in Winterfall. It'll look a bit cracked. Let 'em rip there.

 

 

zcfan: If you still have 6 Heart Containers, you should really consider getting more stuff. That's a hard fight with minimal equipment. Otherwise, you'll just have to approach the first phase patiently and the second phase has some hard to dodge attacks. It's one of the two toughest bosses in the game.

I've gotten the Mask of Truth and have found the "Truth" dungeon. It's the only place I could find where I could do anything. I'm currently stuck in it. I'm fairly certain I need the item there to continue, but have no idea how to get it. I currently have 2 keys and the Big Key, but no place to use them where I can currently reach. I don't know how to get to the 5 rooms on the top right of the dungeon. Those are the only rooms I haven't been in.

 

There's a room with some rat things, some invisible spikes, a switch, and what is apparently a fake big key block. Is there a way to get to the switch?

 

There's a chest on the right side of the dungeon I can't get to, it's just south of the rightmost "identical" room. I can't push the block below it and I've tried everything I can think of to come at it from the right side where you can also warp into that room, but nothing works (I even tried damage boosting across the pit.)

 

I'm assuming that the room with the clue from the one eye statue can be crossed with the item. I just don't know how to get rid of the statues "guarding" it. I assume it's the switch in the rat room or in one of the rooms I can't get to.

 

If I need something from outside the dungeon, I need direction on where to go.

 

There is also a bug, I got the forgers weapon in Sanskrit and after getting it, the note in the room tells me I've started the Pendant of Peril side quest. Not sure if I did something wrong or if there's a bad flag on it. None of the other items in Sanskrit have that problem.

 

I also have an extra key on the overworld. I'm not sure when I got it.

Solairflaire: The Peril Pendant text is a minor bug that doesn't affect anything. I just put the wrong item check on the text there. It checks for the Hammer when it should be checking for the Peril Pendant. Fixed, thanks.

 

I'm also not terribly surprised about an extra key on the Overworld since a lot of the things you go to are Level 0 right now. I'm thinking of making the caves their own Level number at some point but I'm fairly sure it's impossible to lose out on anything since you don't get any huge items from those cave types.

As for Truth, your assumption is right about the dungeon item. Also, the big key block works, but there is definitely something subtle and tricky going on. You should come back to that room later.

 

You have the small keys necessary to get everywhere else. Some of the chests can only be obtained after you find the dungeon item. Truth is kind of an open maze but you do have enough to get to where you need to go. You should try using your keys.

 

If you have obtained more than 2 keys already and used some on previous doors, you're ahead of the game and just need to take a later teleporter.

 

Truth is definitely the sneakiest main story dungeon but you've already gotten pretty far. It's just a matter of finding the right path.

Team, this block puzzle was fantastic, genius, and all-around full of creativity. And I thought the Timeshift Staff has ran out of gimmicks, but no, it's just getting better. Keep doing these kind of ideas you crazy swindle you.

That's easily one of my favorite puzzles in the game. I had to build up to it though with a previous dungeon key. But yeah, the Stardust Scepter is one of the best items I've ever designed puzzles and applications for in any quest. Definitely props to Dan for making it. What's funny is the script is fairly short and its ZC function is very simple. It's just made out to look really glamorous.

Great! I've thought long and hard about changing the balance on that boss but I decided to hold it still for now. >.<

Do I need the Blood Letter to find the place to superbomb ( I have the superbomb, struggling to find where to use it)
