I was blind in this level, lol.

I have not noticed a big increase in the combat difficulty... I had more difficulty finding my way xD

Anyway, Scourge turns too fast, no? I destroyed him in my second try, but is more annoying than hard.

When will the epic temples begin to appear? I can't wait to see something like Sky Garden, Plague Fortress, Time Fortress or Sinner's Citadel... =P

Rent-a-mod Avataro ¬¬ I was desperate before.

The general consensus is that starting with the next one (level 5), they're all good. Personally, I really liked 4 and didn't like 5, but it seems like everybody else is the exact opposite.

Rent-a-mod Avataro ¬¬

Just a clarification, but what Avataro said wasn't rent-a-modding, it was a friendly suggestion. We're also a lot more loose now on what we consider "rent-a-modding," though some obvious restrictions still remain.

The next level is one of my favorites in the game, though really so far they've all been great from there on. Except level eight... good level, if not a little confusing and full of brutal enemies. Favorites so far would have to be levels five, nine (despite an evil block puzzle), and eleven; level twelve is supposed to be really good as well, which is next for me.

I loved all the temples, they are all wonderfully designed... but apart from the "surprise" in L4, I didn't see nothing that surprised me much. (Without counting scripted stuff).

The stairs puzzle was cleveeeeer...

I HAVE STARTED LE ISLE OF REMORSE REBIRTH

Let's see if I can remember where things are. I love exploration, and quests that encourage you to explore before entering dungeons are usual the best in that aspect.

You didn't try hard enough. It IS possible to sequence break in level 4, and I did. Hitting that moving torch basically boils down to walking in and using the candle there until something happens, then grabbing the key. You can use that key to get into the second Scourge encounter, get the lens, and bring that into the first encounter. Using the lens, you can hit the Scourge, triggering a much harder version of the boss fight at the end of the level. It's basically an optional challenge for those who hate themselves. And it's fun. And well worth it when you finally walk into the boss room, the boss text appears, awkward pause, and then heart container drops from the ceiling.

Ah, interesting ...  I don't have the red candle yet, so it would've been really tough triggering it with the blue.

Oh, yes, I know, you can't have the red candle. You walk in, use the candle, walk out, walk back in, repeat. It's up to chance. Took me about 10 minutes, whereas Moosh got it on his second try. Was still worth every second though.

I'm so tempted to try downloading this with my dial up... But damn just having to hope the connection doesn't drop out for the duration of 3 hours... makes it hard to download.

I'll have to wait for awhile more I guess, Well continue to have fun playing this guys.

Why not just take the chance? If the connection does drop out, you're no worse off than you were before, are you?

I was trying the right way for awhile too and honestly it's better to just slash at him and hope he turns into it at times. ZC also seemed to be a bit buggy with picking up hits where it would play the Blocked sound when hitting him directly in the back sometimes. Slash Flipping doesn't seem to help much either.

For dungeons, I'd say Levels 4, 8 and 9 are the best out of what I've seen. I used to like 7 more, but not as much now for some reason.

Anyhow, just got to Level 9 in the current run. Probably going to take a full night to get through it.

I'm not at all surprised. Glaceon is really good at ZC.
