Okay I'm back to playing the quest. I downloaded the update but still can't get the hammer. Tell...tell how do I get that annoying hammer. I still can't slash the bushes and I'm using the 3rd entrance. Also, where is the key to open the locked door?

the locked door is like all, you need the key from one screen beyond where you got the other keys! the hammer is reached after level nine, which you need to beat level eight before going to. you are close to the anticlimactic ending. after level nine, you get the rest of the items and screens opened. there are more things to do after returning to level one after beating the wolf. well, check your private messages.

I think I 'splained it well. laid out: go to level nine for the keys and the fuel (hidden room in the key dungeon!) and then kill the eight boss. proceed to the clouds and kill the main quest enemy and then you have the hammer. return the gameboy to the twins and learn of more questing. sctmorgan has my phone number. I see this thread is growing and growing ,,,,Cuz many peoples don't know how to get the hammer
to get the hammer, just don't stay inside level 8, go to the outside through any door
believe me outside, you have two way to get the hammer
just look the barrier or borderline -- you don't even need to go to the higher side or talk to those twins!!

as a matter of curiosity, I've placed the location to enter the dark world on this ques!!!
Had any one ventured into that world yet???
I'm still waiting to see what will happen with that part of the quest!

are there not enough keys? do you have the fuel? if I've screwed up and prevented you from getting the final key, I'm very sorry. this seems like I may have made an error as everybody gets stuck there. Vravelo is playing an older version and I wonder if I accidentally broke the chain of keys and made the last one unreachable. I'm very sorry if this is the case. I'll check it out ASAFP and get back to y'all. thanks for helping! again, sorry!

To get the hammer, exit Level 8 to the south from the room with the locked door, before you need to use the key. Then go up in the clouds. That is the path to the hammer.

What I never figured out is how to get the flippers.

mmm.. I didn't see any flippers , just the snorkel (the mask to dive under water) I had one
of those -- then I can enter and dive at any pool - also two screen before level 8 there's a house
that give to you for free, (is a bug, every time you enter you get one)

Yes I got it. I thought I said that earlier. I may not have. The problem wasn't the quest, it was the player. I didn't know I needed to go up to the cloud area.

The flippers are the snorkel. I kill all the bats in a room and it appears, but I don't know how to get it.

I should change that, 'cause that's not where you get it, it's a hint of how to get the item in the next room. the snorkel is available in the far East. it's free, I think. John, are there other items you don't have? hookshot? Gameboy? deflecting shield? ultimate sword? fire boomerang? flamethrower fuel? ultimate arrows? keychain? big wallet? sunglasses? there are LOTS of items after level seven.

let me know your progress. did you finish the 8 and 9 worlds and return to 1 with the twin? did you rescue the NorthEast town? did you make a phone call beyond level 8? I know you have swimming to do (which answers about one of the items above -- you can't have it without diving) before getting everything, but it would be great to hear about any progress you make from here as I don't think anybody has given me any feedback about the bonus level and the availability of items after the quest is essentially complete (is that lame?) and the like. maybe the dark world (still hoping somebody wants to build the dark world for me) could be a place where the late items help a lot. hmm... and did you play with the music (still hoping somebody wants control of that, too) on? I can't make it play, so I haven't heard the music in the quest in like five years; is it awful? I think it's stolen from whatever tileset/quest I edited off from. totally can't even imagine it, it's been so long.

No, I'm blocked: I go up to the clouds, but the hammer is unreachable because there is no way from there; I'm using Zc 2.10, may be this the problem?

Did you beat Ganon? I think you have to beat Ganon to get the hammer. I played in 2.10.2 and was able to get the hammer.

To answer your question, I did go back to the Twin, and gave her the gameboy? I have the hammer, hookshot, L3 sword, pretty much everything but the flippers. I also don't have the mirror shield. I never found it. I don't have the fire boomerang either but only because I haven't picked up enough money yet. I know where it is and I have the biggest wallet, I just need to go out and earn the rupees.

I haven't played the quest in over a week because I figured I was pretty much done, other than stuff that requires the flippers. I'm kinda deciding what quest I'm going to play next.

word. well, the snorkel is in the Eastmost column of screens, free. the next sword is available after that. I forget where the mirror shield is. I really think you should play the next dungeon, it HUGE and hard, but not impossible, at all. well, thanks again, duder.
