There is an orange tree barely visible. Torch it, to open the path.

I just took a break from HoD. Well, I actually had no choice, my laptop's battery died, and I had left the charger at my dad's house. I had to go all weekend without a computer >_<

And now I have resumed, and I am stuck once again, in Season Isle. I am on the screen with the lock block, one screen north of the screen with the Death Knight and the Blue Darknuts (if that doesn't help, the screen I'm on right now has the top half covered with water, and there is an orange tree near the bottom). And I am short a key.

From the entrance go left twice and change the seasons. In the fall go north east to get a key at the northeast corner of the level. Also in the water go northeast and walk across the frozen lava to get the key. Hope that helps.

I cannot find my way around the canyon. I found some key I think, but other than that, I'm confused O.o

Okay, well I need a little more info on that since there are lots of things to do in the canyon. Anyways, if you have a key... then you got it from Donmore's House in Autumn Town and you have to go the canyon and put it in the key hole two screens up from the entrance. That path will lead to the Thieves Hideout where you will go the Hookshot. When you get the hookshot you willl be able to go west of the canyon. Hope that helps, if not, be really specific so I can pinpoint where you are.

All I have to say about this quest is that I am extremely impressed with what you've managed to accomplish for it being your first creation with Zquest. There were some graphical and musical hiccups that didn't quite strike me on quite the right chord, but the puzzles, dungeon layouts, and customization are all things that really make this quest stand out from the pack. So far I have managed to proceed to the Temple atop Mount Frost (The Rorriow Temple) in about sixteen hours of play, which even more amazingly I have managed to do without looking at any of the help threads! (You can choose whether or not to believe that, but the fact that I have played most of the Zelda series and do not count any puzzles from those out, and I also try to look for things that don't make sense to try has significantly aided my progress.) All in all though very well done! I look forward to seeing newer, better things from your creative mind.....

Hey thank you very much. I am like you, I never use help threads on the quests I play. I like to find everything on my own. Since with video games on consoles, I never use cheats or read walkthroughs because I think it ruins the experience. But I can understand why people use help threads as it actually ruins their experience if they are stuck in places, but I am just the oppisite. Just different view points.

Anyways, thanks for the message, and hopefully I will continue to excite you with my quests. icon_razz.gif

I agree with Captain. I see you are a Golden Sun fan seeing that about 45% of the midis are Golden Sun music. But to tell you the truth I think LBDX beats HOD by just a little. No offense

I don't think so, buddy!

Anyway, minor graphics bug in Level 9. The lava-floor's enterance has the wrong combo on the corner of the wall near the door.

Sorry about the lack of screenshots, my computer isn't letting me convert the file icon_unsettled.gif

EDIT - Uploaded a screenshot. Sorry about the loss of color, but I hope you can at least tell where it is.

Yeah, I see that bug. Thanks for pointing that out. I will be updating HoD 2.10 with the few bugs that have posted in this thread in the future, probably around the time 2.11 is released. But thanks, I never noticed that one. icon_razz.gif And yes, I am a Golden Sun fan. If rumors are true and Camelot aren't making games for Nintendo anymore, I will be sad, because I want Golden Sun 3 (You know there is a sequel because of the ending). Anyways, back on topic. Thanks guys for the words. icon_razz.gif

Ok, what's the path through the desert. I'm sorry I don't like guessing.

There a lot ways to get through the desert. The grassy screens are the ones that get you lost by the way, so you can look at the minimap and try not to go on the green spots. On the very top of the desert head all of the way left and it will lead you straight to the level.

The ones I can recall are the dodongo one, lamona one, and the one in the chest with the brown blocks

Ok, thanks. By the way, this quest works in 12d icon_smile.gif

OK, this isn't a 12d glitch, but when I held down during the chapter 5 intro screen, i went to a black screen. It's nothing really though. I'm sorry I can't help you Aranda, I don't think I can do that dungeon over again -_-', but King Dodongo is really easy. By the way, welcome to Pure.
