Okay, I just checked literally everywhere. Even the places I had already checked before. I checked all 20 locations, And I apparently got them all. but I only have 19 skulls. Is this a glitch?

I dunno, did any of those screens shake when you entered them? If te screen shakes, than that's the one you're missing. (Assuming you got the item that makes the screen shake when you're close to a skull).

I'll bet the one you missed is in either Stormwoods Island or Magus Tower. The one in Stormwoods Island is easy to miss because it's behind a tree and the one in Magus Tower is easy to miss because all the rooms in the warp maze section look similar.

Thank you, Russ! That was truly helpful! I got through that with minimal problems, then spent entirely too long in level 9. lol But I persevered and got through it!

 

I'm currently grinding away to get some rupees...

In the underground town where Zelda transports you to after Level 9, there's a guard there that needs permission from his supervisor to let me through to a hole that contains something I'm sure I desperately want to have, but I couldn't find his supervisor anywhere in the town. Am I not looking hard enough, is he somewhere else in Northern/Southern Remdra, or am I not able to find him yet until later in the game?

The way you eventually get in there is a bit... Dishonest. Somebody will give you a note telling him to let you in, but it won't be his supervisor.

Regardless, you won't be able to get in there until after levels 10 and 11 (which can be done in either order).

In the minidungeon before level 11 I've defeated the winged beast and received the first piece of the Shrine Key. I can only assume that I need to solve the block puzzle to move further but it's giving me more trouble than I care to admit. (More trouble than the ice block puzzle!)

Any hints or advice that could be thrown my way would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, yes, I know, you can't have the red candle. You walk in, use the candle, walk out, walk back in, repeat. It's up to chance. Took me about 10 minutes, whereas Moosh got it on his second try. Was still worth every second though.

 

I did it on my first try. I just fired a random shot in the middle of the wall, and it worked. I didn't know it would be so hard for you guys, lol.

 

Anyways, stuck in Level 5. I have the map and compass and 1 key, but don't know where to go. I have a feeling that room with the shutter door in the basement has something to do with it, but I can't get it to open.

Because I already found it. I checked everywhere else for bombable walls and couldn't seem to find and. I used the sword tapping technique to test most of the walls, but still no good.

 

 

Edit: Never mind, I found it. A push block in the shutter door room as I expected. I thought I had tried that block 3 times before, but whatever, I got it in the end.

Just finished this quest, that was amazing from beginning to end so thanks Evan and congrats!

 

I also wanted to know what games the tracks you used are from?

I could recognize some of them (as a Zelda and Metroid fan) but others just stuck into my head like the one in the desert caves...

 

I still have Blighted Abyss to complete so I'm not done with it yet!
