Speaking of Mases, has e made anymore videos since?

Sadly no. Can't wait for him to make another one though!  :D

You're supposed to light a certain torch if I remember correctly (use your lens  ;) )

Thanks for your help.  :)

I finally figured it out after I had to go through the entire game again after my save file got corrupted.  :(

At the very least I took snapshots of all the important parts of the game. Only took me 5 hours this time which is about half of my original time (given the fact that I let the game run to listen to the good music).

Yeowch, sorry to hear that happened. Make sure you don't rapidly close and reopen ZC, as that can break the save file sometimes. It also doesn't hurt to make periodic backups of your save file (just copy zc.sav).

Be careful if you're playing using 2.50

You can lose your save data simply by exiting the program and restarting it too quickly. Make sure you always back up copies of your "zc.sav" file.

You had to restart this quest around the same area I had to when I lost my save data.

Update: I just realized that Russ just said this.. Lol

So it happened to you to. I'll definitely take these tips to heart then! Hopefully others who are reading these posts will too.

I just beat Level 6. I really like the idea of having the whole dungeon on one floor and moving the water from one side to the other. It was a nice break from dungeons where you had to raise/lower the water level. It was a lot better than Level 5.

Icy Ruins dragged on for me and felt like it was just one key too long. During the ice block puzzle I got so frustrated that I had to take snapshots so I wouldn't be distracted by the flashing red lights. I do like the look of being underneath the ice, although there were points were my eyes hurt from it.

Aside from the Icy Ruins the dungeons keep progressively getting better. Can't wait for Level 7!!

Is anybody else having the trouble of your items automatically switching when accessing either the map or the start menu? This keeps happening to me and I was wondering if it was just me or if there was a quick fix for this?

(And for those curious, I had a really bad sore throat, so I had took almost a week off. Episode 2 was up today and 3/4 have been recorded.

I'm really liking it. First Dungeon boss is a pain in Hero Mode with just 4-hearts... until you learn how to actually beat his second phase.

I remember a tester using a controller having this problem. I'm pretty sure it's a button mapping issue. Make sure that your L, R, EX1, and EX2 buttons do not overlap with anything else.

You can cycle through the B button item with L and R, and cycle through the A button item with Ex1 and Ex2. My guess is that you have start and map mapped to those same keys, and that's what's doing it.

Edit: Ninja'd twice while posting. Wow.

This is the reason I don't like implementing Ext functions into quests. In most cases, unless you're familiar with Zelda Classic, these buttons can easily be overlooked.

Mases, I'd also advice taking the advice given to Ooa fan, back up your zc.sav files whenever possible, keep copies, nothing worse than hosting a live channel and than lose your quest progress due to a version bug with Zelda Classic.

Why did nobody tell me I can cycle through my A button item? :0

Whenever I try to use that feature I always end up hurting myself and wasting more time than just quick-tapping the menu button. Even used up potions by accident. So now I've been using the cycle feature as much as I used the quick-menu on ALBW--Extremely seldom. But that's just me.

The feature is more or less only in there because a decent sized group of people wanted it after the expo build. While I don't use item toggling at all, I figured it wouldn't be too big an issue to add it. I didn't forsee the default controller mappings becoming an issue with it :(

Wow, really? Like I can't stand AB Item Select personally because it takes forever to get through rooms with switching items with it. I ever prefer Flip Right Facing Slash over it.

If the script really is a big issue with controllers, why not take out the part that scrolls the A Item in future versions? Everyone just wanted it for the B Item scrolling anyway I believe. I can't say I even scroll my A item all that much.

Well at this point it would require editing the quest's global script which I am absolutely not touching because I am deathly terrified of breaking save files. I don't think it's anything that can't be fixed with a little bit of using ZC's button mapping or just assigning EX1 and EX2 to something you'll never press.+
