I can see Scourge,
You saw right. I am skipping a perfect scourge battle because this is infuriating. He's far too random, far too jittery, and his room is far too small to consistently avoid damage while hitting him back.

Scourge's movement, on a fine level, is very broken. It's not Evan's fault; it's just how ZC handles 4 way movement of 2x2 enemies, but it's incredibly obnoxious when he can just kinda of glitch over 8 pixels to hit you then snap back to where he was before like nothing happened.

Yeah, it's exactly what you mentioned there that's got me annoyed. It never feels safe, even in ideal circumstances he can make that little jerk and ruin the whole thing.
He's fine for normal play, but not this. I suppose I asked for it, though.

I've experienced the same issues as you have with the Scourge. I was going to try and get a perfect on every boss, but the Scourge is what stopped me from trying any further. Not only does getting hit mean I have to try the boss again, it also means going through the level again just to reach the boss. Depending on the level, this could take an extra minute or two for every attempt. If Zelda Classic had save states, I would be more willing to give these bosses a try myself.

Shoulda carried on, the bad taste was washed right out by hinox and frost knuckle being very good bosses.

Finished level 12. On to Hall of Memories. Seem to have missed the 1/2 magic. And I've only got 17 skulls. I guess I'll have to revisit everywhere for the remaining 3. Could someone please direct me to the 1/2 magic mini-dungeon? Thanks!

It's not a minidungeon at all, it's the dungeon item of level 9

Thanks, I knew I missed something!

I am in level 9 and am missing one key. I have opened all the visible chests on both floors. Any help?

Have you collected the key from the ice block puzzle? That's the most common one missed it seems.
If you are referring to this room I have finished it. On closer examination it looks like I didn't save after finishing it. But the good news is I remember how to solve the puzzle. Thanks for your help!

I thought I'd seen the blighted abyss in my early travels. I cannot for the life of me remember where it is! Maybe I was dreaming?
Can I get a vicinity? Thanks!
