I fear Ganon put any and all taxi services-motor and horse powered-out of business.  Besides, unless a taxi can wisthstand falling Rocks, no cab driver with reasonable sanity would take you right in front of the entrance.  In Level 7, Abei should have told you, "A secret entrance is located exactly south of the point of an arrow."  Had this been the Second Quest of the original Legend of Zelda, he would have said, "South of arrow mark hides a secret."

Attention, all players of Second Quest Layered:

It is possible to prevent yourself from completing Level 6 if you do not unlock the door leading down to the block maze.  Traveling through the block maze is required to obtain the Boss Key, which is essential to reaching the dungeon Boss and obtaining the Triforce fragment.  Because all of the keys are level specific, you cannot "borrow" a key from another dungeon to use in Level 6.  Therefore, if you use your first two small keys to obtain the first two dungeon items, then you will prevent yourself from completing Level 6 and, consequentially, the entire quest!

An updated version has been uploaded and is now available, and it addresses the issue by keeping the block maze unlocked and adding another locked door on the way to the first dungeon item.  If you downloaded Second Quest Layered before then and have yet to enter Level 6, then download the updated version.

Until then, when you first enter Level 6, use the first small key you find on the locked door leading into the block maze.  Work your way through the block maze to obtain another small key.  Use that small key on another locked door leading to the southeastern portion toward the first dungeon item.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that you still enjoy this quest.

I already beat Level 6 before the update so it didn't affect me.

You will need the Ocarina (Whistle) to gain access to Level 6 and the Magic Boomerang to travel through it.  It is advised to arrive with a full Magic meter not only because of the numerous dark rooms but also the future acquisition of an item that consumes Magic.  Once you obtain the first dungeon item, do not feel compelled to complete the dungeon without the Magic Sword; by then, you should have what you need to begin exploring the Magic Sword Palace once you reveal its location.

This is my progress in magic sword dungeon. I can´t figure out how to go on without the hammer.

You're really close to it, go back to that dead end on the left side where you found the map and bomb the right side wall.

Thanks LFF, got hammer and magic sword. Now I´m going crazy looking for boss key in level 6.

Here is a hint I gave earlier:

…The Amulet (Cross) [is] present…  Just to be clear, orange or yellow statuettes usually require a Boomerang to activate, short purple statuettes require Wand magic, either direct or indirect (i.e. reflected), and tall purple statuettes require a strike from the Wand.  Look for blastable and false walls, but be weary of fake blastables.

Also check underneath bridges in the block maze for any paths hidden from the view of the bird's eye camera.

Thanks Boram_C., the tips about the bridges solved my problems. Now ahead to level 7. This quest is great.

Hi.  Doing Level 6 now, but I [am] missing the Large Wallet and Blue Ring.  Any hints?

There is only the Small Wallet available, but it should be able to hold enough Rupees to purchase the Blue Tunic/Ring.  If you found the hiding spot of Abei, a.k.a. the Old Man, in Level 4, his hint, "There are secrets at ponds where no fairies live…" does not only apply to the Level 5 entrance…
