Yup. I finished six and now I'm on 7. I've been pretty careful with the dynamite although I did waste a couple. I hope you gave some margin for error. If I had to start over for that reason I'd probably give up.
FeretnzRocks!

This is a strange quest. I loved it at the beginning. I'm a little more on the fence at this point.

I am in the same predicament at sctmorgan. I have completed the triforce but I cannot find the hammer. In fact, despite getting the triforce piece in L8, I believe I have only accessed five rooms. The dodongo room, the long narrow room right below it, the map room, the room below the boss room, and the boss/triforce room. That's it. The hammer would appear to open up the overworld more than any other single item. I would love to get it. The hookshot would be awesome too. And the L3 sword.
This is a strange quest. I loved it at the beginning. I'm a little more on the fence at this point.
When you enter level 8 go second room north, kill all foes -- if you look to the left you'll see a door
for going up,, enter that door this lead you to the outside, go right and up , then left 2 times
at this point you can see the hammer at the end,,, use your sword to slash those mushroom shaped bushes
if you need some pictures, I'll post it tonight

wow, that's too bad. you have my phone number, you have the help of other people playing it (THANK YOU, V!) and you have a specific suggestion (below), so I really hope that's just being frustrated that will pass, but if it is my fault (either by poor design or by bad testing), I'm thankful for your finding trouble spots. either way, I need to know where the tough parts are, so thanks. you were positive before, so was it just level eight frustrations that make you want to bail? holler.

edit: this sounds right to me. middle entrance, two rooms up, has closed up and down doors, the up one opens and out you go. I'm in the process of moving, so I can't check by booting ZC/ZQ right now.
Vravelo, are you playing the 12/08 update or the 5/08 version?

My frustration is just that at the beginning, I got stuck, but I was always able to find my way out, and usually missed something dumb. Lately, I have to keep coming to the help thread, and often still can't find my way. I know it's my own fault. I'm wondering if we're playing different versions. Did you make changes to Level 8 in your latest update? Is it possible that Level 8 is broken on the version I'm playing? Here are the four entrances I've found and where I can go from each, as specifically as possible.
Entrance 1: Go up the long ladder, regular bomb a wall on the first screen atop the ladder. The room this leads you to is the room with the compass, right below the triforce room. You kill the enemies, and can go north to the gleeok/triforce room, or east to the dodongo room. Those are your only options.
Entrance 2: You go up the long ladder, but go east one screen, and it drops you right into the dodongo room. From this room you can kill the dodongos, bomb one of the stautes, and get the map, but that seems to be all you can do.
Entrance 3: A superbomb one screen below entrance one. All you can go is go through a room with a bubble and a red darknut and into the aforementioned room below the triforce room, but you can't get anywhere once there.
Entrance 4. One screen below entrance 2. Identical room to entrance 3, except the darknut is blue. All it leads you to is the dodongo room yet again.
So there you go. There must be a fifth entrance? I'm really trying man.
