Try falling down a different sandpit in the screen south of the dungeon.

 

South of the locked building? There's only one sandpit that I can see there.

From town and the healing statue, go one screen up, then 2 screens right… theres more sandpits over there…. fall down those.

 

Plus if you find some pegs, hammer them down to open up shortcuts.

And Evan, is the final boss even beatable? Cant get anywhere with him before he drains all my magic.

Yeah, I did drop down these pits... opened shortcuts with the hammer too. Maybe it's something in the dungeon itself that I'm missing. Did anybody record a playthrough of that dungeon? I'm just hopelessly lost here.

I feel so stupid. I'm still stuck. I've only found one generator. There seems to be absolutely nothing to do. There is one torch that won't light. I have a key and have explored all I can of North and South.

Finally finished the game now, is there much point playing the Hall of Memories, and the blighted abyss? Both are insanely hard...

You get some nice rewards for beating both the Hall of Memories and Blighted Abyss.

You get a level 2 bow and golden arrows from the Hall of Memories.

 

You get a heart ring from Blighted Abyss.

It's more of bragging rights, really. Hall of Memories gives you an item that's really helpful for Blighted Abyss, and Blighted Abyss gives you the ability to say you beat the hardest boss ever created in ZC.

Yeah, the extra boss really WORTH it.... if you have the guts. It's a show xD I hope you like dying, though. 

 

I think beating the extra dungeon was the most memorable moment for me in the quest. It's hard but the dungeon invited you to retry one more time always. You always feel making progress. And the evil boss is the hell, but fighting him is really fun.

I'm sorry to say but I have to abandon this quest. I didn't learn my lesson when I was told not to use 2.5, and I made the same mistake. I've lost all my data for not uprgrading to the new ZC, and now I'm suffering the consequences. Between this quest and Promised Lands I must have played 20 hours.

 

I am not doing that again, and because I should have known better, I'd rather accept the consequences as they are. Either way, really enjoyable quest. It's become one of my favourites.
