After Level 6, you have two main goals. One is that I'd encourage you to do the 2nd dungeon of trials. To get to it, from entering Gly'cov Field from the village just go left one and play the harp in the rock formation.

 

As for finding level 7, you need visit the ocean again and this time explore the central island on the right side in both past and present time.

You should be able to jump that hole with just Farore's Boots. That section is easier though if you attained the Ring of Floatation from Turtle Rock though.

I am now finished with level 6 and am in the second dungeon of trials. Got the sword but not having any luck finding the blue ring.

The blue ring is on the right side of the dungeon. In the room where you fought Manhandla walk through the right wall.

Level 7. Looking for a key. Here is where I have been. Is it possible I used a key out of order?

Glad you figured it out! Been away from the computer a few days. Level 7 is really open ended and you can get all 5 keys in any order.

The Ring of Floatation is in Turtle Rock. To get it, there is a pit you jump over in the past overworld that leads you to the back left leg entrance.

 

I went in to the back leg on the left side and finished the area, killed the mini  boss in the left area and received nothing unless the floatation ring doesn't look like a ring. Whatever I got I must have been standing right on it because I didn't see an item.

Do you remember in the main entrance of turtle rock there was a chest blocked off by the fire? Killing that mini-boss allows you to get that chest.

 

From entering the main entrance, just go up three screens.

Where do I go after level 7?  I think I have all scrolls, but haven't gotten any of the enchanted chests.  Do I need to try to get those?

You can, but you need to visit the great caves again. Did you ever stumble upon an empty great fairys fountain? To get to it dive in the turtles back and go right, down, down, left.

Thanks but maybe I'm missing something.  I think I'm there, but she doesn't do anything. I'm in the Great Cave in Present. Lens doesn't show anything.  But I may be in wrong one.  I couldn't go right down down left.  From entrance I went left up in portal then up and right.  Is that it?  If so what do I do? Thanks again.

It should be the entrance in the Turtle's Back, not the Turtle's Eye. The back should have firebar and a way to go right, down, down, left. 

 

When you get into the fountain, you should see a stray fairy, who asks you to find her sisters so she can combine into the Great Fairy.

I have found all the fairys except the wasteland. Any help?

 

Also finished the east shrine and all I got was a message about some great light or something huh? Perhaps I wait till I finish the south shrine

 

still can't find that last fairy
