Also i have a question.  I lit the lanterns in the house in the in the beginning and then back in august i did download the update, but still am blocked from the chest.  any idea's?\

 

and for some reason, my enchanted key will not work on the chest in the swap area (past), or the by'rov outskirts (one surrounded by hammer tiles).  I just bought a key, and it is not working.  i do have the wealth medal, and it shows on the screen the 205 price for the key, but in the sales person txt box it still shows the 410 price, could that be why, or do the chests reset to close once you open them?  i can not remember which ones i have opened

I found an entrance in the mountains that says 8 above it but needs a gem to continue.  Does that open up Level 8 in the forest?  I can't seem to get far enough in the forest to get to the actual entrance.  I've been on top of the tower through the warp but can't get to the door.  How do I get that gem?  Also - how do I kill the "electric bat" in turtle rock?  I've been able to stun him with the hammer, but can't seem to do any damage to him.

No, that gem is to gain access to the Reversion Rondo song. The gem is in the desert. From the desert entrance go right, up, right and hookshot across to the skull. Then, use the hammer to get the chest.

 

Do you have Ice Seeds? Without them, you can't access Level 8. You should've found four stray fairies who combined to give you the seed. The maze path in the forest is given by color coded flowers. One of them solutions is in the past, the other two are in the present, so most likely you won't have to write anything down.

 

The electric bat is killed by wand (but not the magic of the wand), similar to how all other wall bouncer type enemies are. (Granted boomerang is a bit easier to use on them).

Um... I just started playing this game again, and I think I found a glitch. It might not be in the game, but it's a REALLY useful glitch that I want to get rid of. With it, this game will be WAY too easy.
So, the glitch is... drum roll please...

What. The. F***. This has to be the weirdest glitch I have ever found in a zc game. If an enemy walks into me, I don't get hurt. If you know of this glitch, or have experienced it before, then please inform me on how to fix it.

Edit - nvm. Once I ended the game and went back in, the game played normally. But still, it's weird how that could happen.

So, I am Finally at Level 9!! Since I am doing 100%, can you point out what I'm missing? Plus, I can't find access to the Ultimate Challenge.

There are only a small number of things you're missing. You're missing 5 enchanted items, bait (if you want to buy it again), The Staff of Nayru, and 3 HCPs. Since I'm not sure which HCPs you need, here is a list of all 20.

HCP Locations:

 

#1 - On the ledge outside of Ancient Crater

#2 - Secret room in Crater Cove B1F

#3 - Chest above stairs that lead to B1F on B2F. Need Power Bracelet.

#4 - Ledge in Gly'cov Village. Use Power Bracelet to access.

 

#5 - On the ledge in the sideways passage to the map. Need hookshot.

#6 - Inside West Shrine. Use the harp.

#7 - Outside West Shrine. Use the harp.

#8 - Death Mountain Cave, the Hookshot Maze.

 

#9 - Gly'cov Mountain, under waterfall cave.

#10 - Gly'cov Swamp. Swim to get it.

#11 - Gly'cov Ocean. Roundabout path to a secluded chest.

#12 - Gly'cov Village (Past). Get there by using portal in present.

 

#13 - In east Gly'cov, break the pegasus flower. HCP is just sitting there.

#14 - HCP is located in Shifting Sands Cavern. Reachable by remote hookshot entrance.

#15 - Cave where you got candle. Need Ring of Floatation.

#16 - In the tower of time. Need hammer.

 

#17 - In the Great Caves. Need Mirror Shield.

#18 - On the Petrified Forest / Glycov Side. Take watery path and dive at rock formation.

#19 - Located in the Gly'cov Sea (past). 

#20 - In the By'rov Outskirts (past) push the rock in flowery center. Need hammer to get.

 

The Staff of Nayru:

Dive in the Turtle's Back to get into the Great Caves. Act as if you were going towards the Great Fairy of Ice and instead choose to go to the right. Jump over / kill the darknuts and walk through the right most wall in that room. Once you get outside, use your sword beam to hit the crystal switch. Since you need either really full health or low health to fire off a beam, it is easiest to bring a potion or farm the darknuts since they drop hearts fairly often. You'll come to the last great fairy shortly.

 

The Ultimate Trial:

- Go to Gly'cov Ocean and take the route as if you were headed to the split fairy in the ocean to get the Ice Seed.

- On that island, take the left path and hold left. When you dock, dive in the water you can dive in and make you way from the ocean cave to a remote cave in the water in the Training Grounds. Kill all foes to lower some blue switches.

- In the Training Grounds, go into the cave where you got your sword. Use the mirror shield to reflect the statue's shots revealing a bridge. Use it to reach a crystal switch.

- One screen south of the Training Ground entrance, there was a tree you could hookshot over to. With those crystal switches lowered, use it to reach a remote island in the Glycov Sea (past time). There are two things to do here: Get HCP #19 by looking for a portal under the thick grass, and to hit a crystal switch giving access to the trial.

- With the switch lowered, the easiest way to get there is to use your Timeshift Serenade to warp back to South Gly'cov (past). Use your Farore's Boots & Ring of Floatation to get to the left and go through the trial. This will allow you to buy Enchanted Keys.

- Just for a hint, the red medusa enemies in the pyramid can serve as a way to get rupees incredibly fast. And they always respawn in the 2nd room of the pyramid.

 

 

The Remaining Enchanted Items:

1. Enchanted Candle

    -  Timeshift to the Northern Plains and go up, right. Take the time portal and act as if you were going to Death Mountain. Don't go in the cave to reach the mountain and instead go right. When you get to a waterfall with diveable water, dive there.

2. Enchanted Ember Seed 

   - In snowfall village, use enchanted fire or Din's Fire to take out the purple tree.

3. Enchanted Hammer 

   - Warp to the By'rov Outskirts (past). Look for a rock you can push around some blue flowers.

4. Enchanted Heart Ring

   - Go in Gly'cov Forest. Go right, right, up, left, left. Jump over the pit and into the portal. Hit the switch.

   - Go back into the forest and enter the time portal you would've used to access Turtle Rock through the Petrified Forest (the screen has some pits blocking your path and lots of moblins). 

   - Instead of walking back out of the forest, explore the whole side of this forest. You'll face a fairly tough Goriya mini boss (who can be made really easy with that charge ring of yours and the hammer).

   - Eventually, you'll make your way to a clearing just right outside the petrified forest. Walk over to the left side of that screen and use the Reversion Rondo. Eventually, you'll be successful and gain access to this chest.

5. Enchanted Magic Ring

   - Go in Gly'cov Swamp. One screen from the entrance, go right. Use your pegasus boots to break the petrified flower and hit the switch in the cave.

   - Now, use the Timeshift Serenade to get to Gly'cov Fields (past).

   - Act as if you were going to the Turtle Rock entrance, but get on top of the protruding mountain in the water there. Use the Reversion Rondo.

   - Go through that cave to appear in a remote part of the swamp. There is a visible cave south of you and an unmarked cave entrance you have to bomb (although it is pretty obvious). Go through both and you'll gain access to this chest.

The first key is on the left side of the dungeon (in the area that mimic's Level 5). To get there from the start go up one, left one. Then, bomb the left wall where the green statues are looking. Unlike all other bomb walls, this one doesn't make the "bomb wall noise" due to it being scripted.

That feather is actually just the Ra's Feather. It is very useful to have though! Now you can go and get the Shopkeeper's Mark from Mr. Left in Dhona. Also, if you have the Harp of Time, you can learn the Timeshift Serenade from Malon in Lona Lona Ranch, making travel so much faster.

Only a few small things. You're missing between 1 and 4 HCPs (can't tell how many for sure), the Enchanted Charge Ring, and the Wealth Medallion.

 

It is quite possible that you might not be able to attain the charge ring, since there is a bug there preventing you from getting it if you attempted the puzzle and didn't have the key.

 

As for the wealth medallion, it is located in the top right corner of Gly'cov Mountain. You have to use the Reversion Rondo to get it. A list of HCPs is a few posts above.
