I'm stuck in level 10 (I like the gimmick by the way). It seems everywhere I can go I either need the dungeon item or a key. I believe I've explored all the rooms I can currently go to, unless there's a sneaky pathway I've managed to miss. Any hint on where to get the first key, or item?

Which keys (if any) do you have? You need 3 to reach the dungeon item. Additionally, exploring the top floor will yield the map which will make life significantly easier.

From the Start, go one screen east, one screen up.  Then take the arrow path leading right...

 

From there you want to go left from the small pit your in… and then right from the next pit… You then have two options as to which way to go… think the key was on the left option...

 

I know what you mean.. Level 10 is a mind f***. Just wait till you see the level 11 boss!

 

Good to see you again btw Jamian… Don't go having any ideas… Evan is evil with his puzzles… Level 12 is doing my head in...

 

Actually, thinking about this, anyone got a video walkthrough of level 12?

Just finished Level 10. So far the Gale Boomerang is the neatest ITEM I have used in playing a Zelda game.

Just look around that page, the entirety of level 12 is in there somewhere. It may not help with the puzzles as much as you would like, though.

Sorry, I'm in level three, have one key and have found the second entrance. Where do I go? Am I supposed to do stuff with the generators?

You actually need to do a lot of stuff in the north half before using the second entrance. Specifically, breaking a couple of crystals to activate bridges. One of the generators is already on, but you have to activate the other two. They power torches using the Goron minecart track power conducting technology. I know, it's really unclear. Both generators are accessed from the south (even though one is technically in the north).

Lol, the second form of that damn demon is impossible to beat ='(

It's very luck based. Sometimes, he spam enemies, enemies... other times he jinxed me and I can't do nothing even if I was playing perfect against the first form.

 

Some tip, trick, advice...?

Second phase is the meat of the fight. Practice, practice practice is the best advice I can give. Keep your distance and react to his moves instead of proactively attacking up close. When he summons, use your Cane or spin attacks to quickly dispose of them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the bonus boss is the hardest boss ever to be created in Zelda Classic ... period.

There are 3 keys pre dungeon item in level 8.

 

1 on F1 a few screens north of the entrance (But you have to go around and through sideview).

1 after the maze path.

1 on the right side of B2.

Hi Evan20K! I'm enjoying this quest immensely! Of the 3 keys mentioned above, I cannot figure out the route to "1 on F1 a few screens north of the entrance (But you have to go around and through sideview)." I've been through every part of the sideview I can access, and I can't seem to progress. Is there something I'm supposed to bomb? Those stalactites mystify me. (Just figured those out.) And there are brick bridges that disappear in the lens, but I see no triggers for either impediment. Any help, please!

 

NVM. Figured it all out minutes after posting. Sheesh....

You can bomb the stalactites! Namely the ones attached to chains. The brick blocks will be made more apparent as you progress further into the dungeon.

Looking for keys in lvl 10 now found 2 keys and used those , got the map ,so any hints to the third key?

I still don't really understand what to do. I flipped lots of switches. Are there minecarts or something?
