Lovefire: There are 4 keys there. Two on the floor where you appear after defeating the DarkArmyArchMage, and two one level up from them, each at a block-light puzzle. Get the first key by the left (hammer the statue) at the spike part: you need hookshot and wand and high speed, probably Nayru's love, too. Second key is... well... Go under the water at the lower right and go through the the only way, while encountering another dive warp, there will the key be. Another two key are up from the first two, as I said. Boomerang or shoot the curtain to make the room lighter, memorize the numbers and go to next room. You can have the keys in any order. You also can use them in any order: there are two gates and you need 2 key to each. One brings you to item, another to a boss. After the boss, you will need the item, to go to the final boss of 8th dungeon.

Sigh, I did not want to have to ask for help, but dang it Shoelace, you are just too good for my poor tired mind . I am inside the Temple of Light (L8); far East side, second from top. This room has a 'simple' 3 block timed puzzle. If this has been asked, I appologize. Just direct me to the post number. Thanks in advance folks!

I don't think anyone asked about that yet IrishGodfather, so I am not goint to post the number. Anyways, I think you are talking about the timed block puzzle. Kill all the enemies then start at the door from F2. (This is on the top of my head, so bare with me) Run and push the (Top right) block all of the way down. Next run and push the (top left) block to all of the way right into its spot. Quickly go to the bottom left block and push it left. Then get the bottom right block and push it all of the way left and then all of the way up. Push the lower block right into its spot then run up and left and push the last block into its space. Hope that helps.

Ahh so you're supposed to hammer that statue... I always assumed from reading the posts here I needed the Master Sword to break it. Thanks. Can you find the Lens of Truth in this game?

No Lens of Truth, no Boots, no Magic Key, no Farore's wind, no Cross/Amulet. I think all other is present in this game. You can have the full list from the Readme file that was in the zip. You also can find two promising demo's link there.

I guess I am the only one still working on Cerbat Shrine. I have come to a puzzle in the right side of the map. It has a switch that you have to walk across. It also has two candle that you can push. I know you have to push the candle beside the lava pit and hookshot across but I can't get the upper one to push once I hookshoot across. The lower is no problem, but the upper one is really kicking my butt. Any help would be appreciated.

First put the candles to place and then step on the switch. The first is done, you say. Now you need to push the upper candle one square up from where the last switch will appear. Then step on switch, hookshot to the lower candle quickly (don't just walk) to step on the appearing switch then hookshot to the up one then step on the middle of that switch... Door opens. I guess then you will encounter key shortage as everyone else did at that point, but nothing too serious. Don't stop the quest just because it's hard! Cerbat Shrine took me almost a week, too.

Thanks a bunch! I was trying to put the candles on the switches. Boy do I feel stupid!!! Oh well. I won't give up on this great quest! I really am enjoying the fact that you actually have to think it through. Thanks again for the help!

Darn, the final boss is a bit of a tricky one! Even harder than Dr. Wily from Peteo's Megaman. I just got to the part after it summons all the boss enemies. But shouldn't there be a final boss music?

Yes that boss is insanely hard, those beams are tough to avoid if your not in the right place, and all of his attacks are unpredictable. The way I beat him is I used the heck out of Nyrue's love when I'm about to get hit by one of his attacks since they do 4 hearts worth, if you don't have Nyrue's love yet then definatly go out and get it, it's pretty much a requirement for this battle. Either that or an insane amount of luck to avoid all his attacks. Or you have a great memory for where all his attacks hit so you can get out of the way.

I just use Nayru's Love when he summons that death knight.

I finally beat this quest. Yeah, I used Nayru's love when summoning the death knight and his flame thrower attacks. It took awhile to figure out to how to reflect his attacks when he was using the sword.

I always assumed for links house that one of the previous links has lived there, probably the Hero of winds.
