Yeah you'll need to restart if your thing is this broken.

So that's to say that

Spoiler
I can't do much of anything more because the technical issues render the completion of that sidequest moot?

In addition, does the lack of address to my questions about those rooms in Fall of Stones mean that FoS is post-game content, for which I'm on my own?

I'm genuinely just curious, not sore about the prospect of having to completely restart.

No, I don't think that sidequest is required for much of anything (though it is very useful), the problem is that all global variables in your save file are completely butchered, meaning stuff that isn't triggered could be set to on, and stuff that should be triggered as on, isn't. This very likely means that you can't do certain things in the post game because it's in the wrong state.

You can already see that in the experimental code to spawn rupees is running, even though it was a feature that I scrapped. A lot of it is probably harmless, but I can't really guarantee anything, and it's likely some content is permanently locked off due to it.

The area can be accessed before the post game and even potentially completed to some degree, but as you are aware since you have completed the main segment, it's not required.

It was not really my intent to not answer questions about the area specifically, it's just the save file corruption was more pressing.

Thanks, all of my questions are clarified now. I went ahead and started a new game and things are running smoothly. Now that I know exactly what to do, I agree it certainly is possible to clear the tower within two hours - so no big inconvenience.

In the bunny cave, in the block puzzle with the colorful rubix block and the arrow blocks, it doesn't seem as if you can push the colorful block over paths that the arrow blocks have been pushed over.  Is this intentional? It doesn't make much sense to me.

That does not sound right, no. What version of zelda classic are you using?

Oh I'm playing on 2.5 build 29. That's probably the problem.

I'm in Gale Fields and seem to have explored all of it I can get to. I've gone to the tower and Murk Caves. I have a stick, the out of tune ocarina, and a shield and that's it. How do I find the key to leave again?

I've just got the airhorn after days to figure out how to open the catfish's mouth. Now i have some clue to progress in the game but i Still have to figure out where i should go to get something or someone attention with something loud (wich i know that i have to use the airhorn for this one) Unless i'm completly out of the road. I've also unlocked the desert dungeons but still unaccessible because of dark rooms. All i could get is the dungeon map. I've also got 2 things that i've found in the Drake Tower for the magic thing. Also how can i destroy the rock face in a cave that pervents me to get the slingshot ? Or should i find another entrance ? I've also found the sword (thanks to the portal next to the forest temple but i supposes that wasn't supposed to be found until the player travels the Found Forest labyranth.) But i had no enough lives since i only have 4 lives from 6 lives.

I'm making some good progress in the post game, and as promised, it's a grind even compared to the regular game. Mani Kanina, do you mind if I drop spoilers about post-game content?

While it's possible to illuminate and complete Fall of Stones right now,

You aren't ever going to get the slingshot back, but

It's possible to collect the mysterious sword in the Found Woods, but

Right now, you should complete Drake Tower.

I think I'm missing something in Spatial Space. Is there any rhyme or reason behind navigating it? Right now I have the air horn, bombs, sword, dawn rapier, and some ruins which I have no idea what they do.

If you can't keep the area in your head, I recommend starting to draw a map on paper, you can use the corner minimap to see what screen you end up on when you go through a screen transition.

Spatial Space is super lame IMO. It's not even a test of direction, just of brute force guessing. If anyone wants to just spoil the path, that is no problem with me. I have little interest in figuring out which of the ~168 possible screen exits I have forgotten to go through.

I disagree, personally. The area is about spatial awareness or rather, systematic mapping either in your brain on paper. In fact, it's trying to brute force it by just going randomly that will not really get you anywhere.

Anyway, to provide help, what have you accomplished in the area so far?

I haven't found any items yet, only the check point. I have gone to 42 screens. I don't need to kill the enemies on a specific screen right? I'm leaving one enemy on each screen so they don't respawn. I'll take another shot at it tonight.
