...What? Already?

You're insane. I've only been able to beat that thing on hero mode a handful of times myself.

I hope I didn't disappoint when I promised an AQ-tier challenge. You've overcome the very worst I can throw at you. Well done, sir.

I'm still way back in the Corona Mines (holy moly, this thing is long; no complaint though, it's absorbing), and I was wondering about something.  Instead of picking off the little fire-breathing penguins with arrows or the boomerang, I've been facing away from them, holding out my spin-charged sword, and walking backwards so that they don't see me until I'm past them and safe.  Is that a normal way to get around them, or am I being a cheap punk?

Nope! There's an NPC who actually encourages it and it will be important later in the game.

I'm in level 4 and can't seem to find another key. I watched EPPy's LP, and in this room he could just light the torch to drop the barricade on the right, but it looks like the game has changed:

And in this room there was no moving torch for Eppy to light, but I saw something in the thread about there being a torch. If there's a moving torch, does it move around the perimeter of the room or over every square, or what? I'm not having any luck after many, many tries. Appreciate the help!

In that first room, the torch is unlit when you walk away from it, and lit when you're close. So you have to use the candle on it, then walk away so that it unlights and the fire from your candle relights it.

In that second room, you're supposed to have the lens to get the key. You CAN get that key early though, with a bit of patience and luck. The torch is invisible and moves up and down on the left side of the screen at random. With that key early, it's possible to fight the dungeon boss before the level is finished, but he'll be much more difficult, so fair warning.

Thanks for the virtually instant reply, Russ! Silly that I didn't think of the solution to my first problem, but that will get me on a path to another key, so I'm saved for now.

I just defeated the bonus boss on hero mode. That thing almost drove me to my breaking point.

In a way, I was expecting this XD

I mean who wouldn't expect this from the guy who flawlessly beat LoH? Anyway, congrats man.

got to both the lvl10 and lvl11 bosses.  not really sure how to beat them.  lvl10 i got rid of all the eyes, but am not sure what to use against the main eye and it doesn't give me much time before crushing me.  lvl11, i assume i need to use the light, but am just getting murdered.  went to buy boss hints in the glim sanctuary, but that info guy wasn't selling boss hints, says he gave me a letter to fight gold lynel, but the guard still won't let me into the pit.

also, are there any overworld secrets or cave secrets that require the use of the lvl10 item?  can't remember anything that might require it, and tired of going back and checking every cave for the ones that i haven't cleared yet with new items.

You don't have the latest version of IoR. Redownload to fix the shop.

LV10 Boss--> Wand, use hookshot to evade him.
LV11 Boss-->Light to weaken it, Arrows or wand to attack.

The Gale Boomerang activates the windmills in the overworld.

You can also slow down the L10 boss with the dungeon item, although it isn't required.
